Does anyone know if they still sell RH Vintage / Free City at Scoop in New York City?

And what are the prices for long sleeves and short sleeves? TIA!

Yes they still sell Free City at Scoop in NYC. The selection isnt that great at most of the stores, i was at the Scoop on 3rd ave 2 weeks ago and all they had were tank tops.. Scoop Street has a better selection and a lot more inventory so that would be your best bet! The short sleeves go for about $110 $120, and the long sleeves are about $135.. they are all over the hundred mark. I bought a white long sleeve that says "LIFE" on the front and "LIFE NATURE LOVE" on the back and it was 135.. good luck!

I bought a Free City tee a couple days ago at the Fred Segal on Melrose. You know what's funny?? The day after I bought the tee I was in Malibu and shopping around the Malibu Country Mart and I saw the Ron Herman store and I looked around in there for a while, but I did not see any Free City store! From what you all are saying, now there are TWO Ron Herman/Free City stores in Malibu on Cross Creek Rd??? Is this right?

SCOOP STREET is the same thing as Scoop basically, it's just located in West Village on 14th street. I think you will have a better chance finding something you love there because they definitely carry more Free City clothes there. I own free city 11 tank tops they are awesome. They are lower priced than the tees, set around $80-90. They usually dont have a broad variety of tanks but im sure you can find some. This year the tank tops haven't been as fun as the usually are.. when i mean fun i mean with bright colors and prints but thats because the lined changed a bit. However the tanks have a great fit, the mens are longer which can be good if you are tall.. but could be a little cut out by the armpits. Either way, they are great.. and i wish you luck on your shopping there! Do you live in new york? because if not i have some other possible suggestions for you! Good luck and you're very welcome!! :D

The reason you didnt see any free city at Ron herman was because you have to go to the Free City Supershop to buy free city products, which is across the street. you have to look for it since it doesnt have its name printed on the building. you'll see the colorful bikes and mural on the building as well as a flag at the top of the building. the address is 3868 Cross Creek Rd. i hope this was helpful!!

P.S. if anyone happens to be at the Supershop pick up an Amy Cook CD -- its amazing and they only sell them there. also, look at the L'oeil du Vert body scrubs; the are amazing as well (but extremely expensive)

Curious

Postby julia_x_ » Fri Jul 14, 2006 7:41 pm

Question, my mother bought me a lot of Ron Herman clothes for my birthday and I love them so very much. I have a lot of Free City, Neighborhood, and Free Love clothes. They are all so comfy and just plain neat-o.

I have one small question that some might find stupid but I couldn't find the answer anywhere else so I'm hoping someone on here can help me. If you're going to be rude then please just don't reply, I'm not typing this just so I can be insulted by some jerk. But anyway, I was wondering what does it all mean?

Free City and such? What does it mean? I'm sorry if I'm causing any trouble because I really like the clothes. So please help if you can.

Short sleeves?

Postby moomoo21189 » Mon Jul 17, 2006 10:44 pm

I just recieved a ron herman sweatshirt in the mail, my first experience with ron herman to date, and I was wondering if it's typical for the sleeves to be cut a little shorter than a normal sweatshirt? Also, it has the "free city"/hummingbird logo on the front, "letsgo" down the arm - is it typical for the inside tag to read "LIFENATURELOVE" ,then 'free city' in small print? Just verifying authenticity, thanks!

Yes, it is typical because every shirt/sweatshirt is made individually by hand. It also depends on size, too.

I love hanging out in Malibu and go to Freecity supershop.

Hi-
About Freecity sweatpants (either Artyard/bird print etc), they cost about 90 dollars. I know that for sure, because I asked one of the sales associates about the price.

Freecity Supershop in Malibu (obviously) carries all (but they sell out pretty quickly). There are 5 Ron Herman stores in California- Melrose, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Costa Mesa (South Coast Plaza shopping mall), and Malibu. Next to Frreecity Supershop, Fred Segal Melrose carries the most Free City clothing.

I live in LA, and it seems like Free City sells for a bit higher price compared to LA (I think Free City clothings are made in California).

Ah, I'm kicking myself for not buying cute shirts when Malibu store opened up last fall.

I live in the UK and am desperate for some free city t/shirts or sweaters. Does anyone have any idea of how I can purchase from here (other than ebay where alot of stuff is not authentic). Thanks
