Little sister doesn't know how to shave.

Okay so previously I had mentioned I take care of my little sister of 13. Well in the past few weeks she has mentioned that girls in the locker room have teased her about her hair "downstairs". She has never shaved or trimmed it and I suggested she shave it if she want's to or if she likes the way it is to ignore them. Since then she had mentioned shes just going to leave it bu came to me the other day and asked if I could show her how to shave. Now we've seen each other naked before that's not a huge deal, we're both girls but as far as me shaving her the first time, letting her watch me shave once, or helping her shave once I'm not really sure what would be best on this one. Any tips?

Tell her to trim it down first. If she tries to remove a full bush with a razor, she's gonna have no end of razor bumps, ingrowns, etc.... I wish I could tell you how to deal with this.... you could probably talk her through the process, showing her on underarm or something, but she's going to have to do her own razor work, I think. Just don't explain the process from the perspective of someone that has been shaving for a long time....it has to be done with the first time point of view. Going with the direction of hair growth, don't take more than on or two strokes on any point, let warm water saturate the hairs before applying cream/gel/lotion, etc... You should be ok with that.

I agree with trimming rather than fully removing. My razor has an electric trimmer on the end which is simple to use and I've never nicked or cut myself using it. Ideal for a first timer. You should let her do it, just provide some instruction.

Sorry It takes me forever to get on, I don't have a ton of free time. She Does shave her legs so yes she knows how to use a razor, She was just scared to accidentally cut a sensitive area. We got it all taken care of though, thanks guys
