Dating and Sex

Postby Mac » Fri Apr 08, 2011 5:30 am

When in a relationship is it appropriate to have sex? Why do so many guys feel that sex on the first date is to be expected?

Then again it can happen that you go from first kiss to sex in minutes and married for twenty years.

Great question. It is still odd though in a world where STD's are rampant someone is willing to have sex on thefirst date. People shouldn't even want to kiss on the first dates now. Wake up the next morning with a surprise arounf your mouth.

Ive always had sex on either the 1st or 2nd date. For some reason when im browsing forums and such its like i get the impression i should be ashamed, yet when im talking with friends about it and meeting people at clubs/bars its like so normal, yet reading inet forum comments like verves above post, and a person on here called me trashy, its like they have no clue what so ever other than reading news articles and statistics and reading the odd forum post about someone catching something the only time they had a one night stand..

And by the way verve, ive kissed 100's of guys, full tongues and everything. Not to mention some wacky stuff ive seen at swinger clubs and things... makes the typical one night stand seem like a yawn in the face.

If you dont want to catch anything, just check out their pubic area for infections on their skin, use condoms and make sure to shower soon after - its as simple as that, theres no need to put your sex life on hold for mr/miss perfect.

The standard has really changed since I was young.

I'd never expect sex on the first date. Or the second to be honest. After that though, she'd better be up for a good pounding
Your opinion is wrong.

I wouldn't say "expected" so much as "hoped for". What's a guy got to lose by trying?

I dated my previous girlfriend for months before we had sex, and the relationship didn't last very long, although we're still friends. My current girlfriend and I had sex within an hour of meeting each other, and we've been together nearly six years now.

Sex on the first date is neither a good thing or a bad thing, and nobody should go in with any expectations.
