Ive noticed this to, when I go out these days women make an effort to talk to me and have been chatted up quite a lot. Last year this stunning blond who did tango dancing was chatting to me most of the night., she seemed loverly, at the end of the night though when i didnt hit on her she asked if i had a family and I said yes, but I enjoyed her company nonetheless. I went out with my best friend a few weeks ago and a girl was hitting on me, but I passed her onto my best mate, pointing out i have a partner but he's single, 15 minutes later i was on my own and they were on their way to her house
"great wingman skills there mate" was the comment on my face book skills the following day!

I am sorry not to agree with that. I think, for a start, women avoid married men. It's the first thing to know when we meet a man that caught our eye: "is he married?". I am sure big part of the women will just give up dating him if they know he is married. Then, you should consider that men often lie, they pretend to be single or even say they are separated and no longer sleep in the same bed yada yada yada... then on the bottom of the list we may have those women who prefer to date married men just because it means no commitment. I have heard of them but met none. We can also consider that some single women can get involved with married men just because they felt in love and wish they will leave their spouse. But I don't think it's correct to generalize. Single women avoid married men as a rule.

There are women out there that only target married men. Some see that if hes good enough for her, he aint that bad, others see it has competition and will often spit them out once they get them to bed once.

Simple rule is, if a guy marries his mistress, he has just created a vacancy for a new woman.

One single woman friend told me that she had afairs with married men because the best of the men were married and that her choices of single men were limited. She was not beautiful, but a nice woman. Many times when a man has an affair it is with a woman who does not look as good as their wife, but she is nicer, probably because she doesn't deal with him from day to day.

Here is another side to it. My girlfriends daughter-in-law likes to chat me up. For no other reason than we understand each other. I have no intensions of anything else besides friendship. I don't feel she has any other intentions. Perhaps men read too much into a woman being friendly.

I have been accused of hitting on a woman when all I was doing was being friendly.

I think the reason ladies date married men is that they are more experienced in taking care of women than the single men. Some also do it because of the financial benefit they would derive from it.
