Hi everyone,
I have been on dinette for years and after suffering from terrible migraines I have now been switched to cerazette, I have been suffering from very sore nipples and breasts and not sure if it's all in my head but seem to be getting very bad mood swings too..... Has anyone else had this?

I'm 40 and started taking Cerazette about 7 weeks ago on the first day of my period (which lasted 7 days instead of the normal 2 days), after 12 days of no bleeding it started again Saturday and is draining me and is becoming really inconvenient. Have also been getting quite bad headaches!

Is this the norm and if so how long do these effects last?

helloo :)

im 21 and I was on cerazette for three months. i had tried it a year before but came off it due to side effects. I decided to try it again and I have to say they were the same, if not worse. I have to say the minute i stopped i felt like a different person. I became very weepy, depressive and moody on it, especially towards my boyfriend. My sex drive went completely and I got very lumpy, extremely painful breasts. I couldnt even walk down the stairs or sleep, due to the pain. I was even referred to a breast clinic. I was told it wasnt my pill, but I came off it and the lumps went. My period stayed very regular but lasted alot longer for around 9-10 days. I also was quite spotty on it. I was one of the unlucky ones that got alot of the side effects from it. Ive just been prescribed micronor and as much as i tried not to read the horror stories about the pill i have and have been put off by it. Im scared the same thing will happen again with this mini pill. I am now looking into the hormone free coil! id rather have a sore tummy every so often than everything else.

Hiya,

Only started looking up the side effects from this pill after feeling all is not right. I started taking this pill at the start of march and have more of less been bleeding constantly since. I've have extremely sore breasts, really bad pain in my lower back and Im feeling exhausted all the time. I've also been felling really depressed and down in recent weeks and am wondering if this is now a side effect of this pill that I wasnt aware of. Im going to ring my doctor in the morning and make an appointment to see my other options as Im seriously considering coming off this pill now. Its good to know others have the same symptoms as I thought it was just me.

Hi there - I am now in my second year of taking Cadazette and have to say I have had no issues with this pill at all. I was put on this pill due to being 40 and had my previous pill changed to this.I have not had any bleeding at all, no periods, no weigh gain (except when I have a cake lol) or any of the other symptons described - only thing I would say that has changed is im becoming a little more moody - dont know weither it has to do with the pills or my age.

I think its down to the individual

Hi. I been taking cerazette for nearly 2 months. It stops me bleeding for the first month and now I had my period and have not stop bleeding for almost two weeks. I had the breast sore feeling for the first two weeks I've started taking Cerazette.

I am not so sure of what to do as I read the feedbacks from people and its all negative!. Apparently this is the worst pill ever.

Ive just started using cerazette today and i have a tampon in. Question is how long did you need your tampons for, for your first menstral bleed with cerazette. As this is the first time im on the pill.
Thx

Ive been on this pill for about 3 months now, and i was previously on Microgynon but had to go off because of ONE visual migraine, microgynon made me ANGRY but now I'm on the cerazette its like I'm depressed, getting sick a lot, stressed and everything upsets me. But since being on this pill I've been having headaches EVERYDAY, and I never used to ever get headaches! (not even on a hangover!)

Im 11 days now taking Cerazette, and so far no complaints really expect a liitle be tender around my Nipples. Not to sure what to expect next month if My period will actually come. Fingers crossed it wont. Am on this pill for a 3 minth trial, am.wondering if I should extended my prescription.
For those who came off Cerazette did your periods come back straight away/qas your bleed heavier than normal?
Thx :D

Hi all, I recently came off the implant due to it causing mood swings, depression and losing interest in sex....I got put onto the crazette pill and got warned I may not have a period.
I have been on it for nearly 3 months and i have gained nearly a half a stone, it is really noticeable and I'm getting really down about it, I have t changed my eating routine atall so wondered if the pill could be the reason and if I am honest the lack of interesting sex and my moods are still the same as the I plant, should I of stayed with that or is there actually anything that won't do anyof the above?..plz help...xx
