I was recently at Virgin V Festival in the UK and was shocked to see these freestanding green plastic urinals place literally in the middle of no-where with guys peeing into them.

I was even more shocked to see two girls standing up using them! Yuck.

Hey, if you think UK festivals are bad, you'd better not go to a Scandinavian one! I went to the Roskilde festival in Denmark a few years back. Although toilets were provided, it seemed to be normal for evryone (male and female) to just pee at the edge of the various fields that the festival is held in. In the camping areas, everyone just pees near the fence. In the main area where all the music happens there is a concrete ditch round the edge with a hoarding beyond it. The blokes pee straight into the ditch, the women mainly squatted with their bum over the ditch or with one foot either side. A few women stood to pee into the ditch but I think they were just showing off!

Men and women were side by side. No one seemed embarassed (except for the handful of Brits and Americans that were there) - everyone just accepted that some times you need to pee, its no big deal.

It was kinda refreshing to see this attitude rather than finding yourself in trouble with the law just for undertaking normal human bodily functions.

When I'm out with my friends, I just go when I have to go. I have used so many things to pee, it isn't even funny.

Let's see-

bushes, creeks, holes, trees, sides of cars, I had to go into a mens room when no one was looking and use a urinal......

LMAo, I just know to bring extratp/napkins whenever i go out.

Out for a walk at lunchtime and just had to go. There wasn't much cover between the parth and an eight foot fence and wouldn't you know it, as soon as I got my pecker out I heard a couple of women chating as they walked along. There was nowhere to go so I squatted low and kept on peeing. They were so busy talking they walked past and didn't even notice! With only a few branches as a screen and by keeping very still I was overlooked.

i was coming home one saturday night in a taxi i was dying for a wee i thought i could make it home but i was wrong we tried to get somewhere to go but they where all shut so he had to stop the cab down a side street and i had to dive out i never even had time to go somewhere private because i was already leaking so i had to go there and then i had trousers on as well and i wasnt very lady like i just yanked them down and flowed like a river it was only when i went back in the cab the driver said a kojack down there then i didnt get at the time so asked what he s on about then explaned i tried to act if i wasnt bothred but i was mortifed only three people in this world have seen down there and one them is ataxi driver in liverpool

Next time just let it slowly out into your pants and act as if nothing happened. If your pants are dark enough and it is late in the evening, nobody will probably notice your secret. Just spurt by spurt when you have reached the point where you could not avoid attracting attention if you tried to hold it in any longer.

True story:

At school aged eleven I found myself weeing into a waste paper basket in my classroom. I didn't
realise that I was doing it until I heard my pee rattling on the sides of the basket and the paper
below. I tried to stop and I pulled my pants back over my willy making them damp in the process
as I could not stop the flow. I then headed quickly to the boys room where I felt desperately
embarrassed. I had wet my pants but it didn't show through to my trousers. I took a little time to
calm myself down and consider what had happened. I realised that I had made a mistake thinking
that the sinks and mirrors in the classroom were the ones in the loos. I must have walked away
from my desk with the intention of going to the toilets and seen the mirrors and thought that I was
already there. I then pulled my willy out from under the leg of my trousers and pants. How I
mistook an old fashioned woven basket for a urinal I have no idea; the urinals we had were the big
open kind with a porcelain wall to pee against and a gutter below, nothing like a basket.
Well, I had made this mistak without looking round to see if any of the other children had seen my
unintentional performance. I was sure that some, if not most, of my classmates had witnessed my
moment of exhibitionism. I was ashamed to go back into the classroom, especially as my pants
were so wet. There was no point in hiding though as this would only draw more attention to
myself so I went back into the classroom and no one blinked an eye. I think I got away with it.
And to this day no one has been told of this story. Until today

Who thinks that peeing in public places like on the side of the road is wrong. I dont think so because what if you are desperate to go and you couldnt hold it any longer and there were no toilets around wouldnt you rather pull down your pants and pee instead of pee in your <A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/' target='_blank'>knickers</A>. Please debate this i would love to hear your feedback.

Its a dificult problem. Lets face it if you need to go badly all you can do is try to get out of site as best you can. I had kind of a humerous experience as a girl about 12. My best friends dad took us to a huge park with a river and walking bridge and picnic area etc. We decided to take the nature trail to see where it led. Once your half way in its very hilly and wooded. Her dad said oh boy I have to go bad! He could have chosen a tree to hide behind but there was a huge boulder just to our left up a little hill. So he naturally chose that. We walked a few steps which got us further past the rock and as we looked up at the rock we realized there was a space under it on the far side and from our position we could see up to her dads waist as he was going. From his position he thought he was hidden. We both got into a giggle fit over it. When he got back down he asked what was so funny? We made up something.
