not excited but disgusted by the massive waste of money that could be used to kick start the economy and the money should be used to start trainee, apprentice schemes etc so that the young can at least get on the employment ladder.

Deluded to say undoubted excitement.

Most of the Londoners I speak with wish the games was not happening

Small service companies in London will be serious effected and will lose money which means less corporation tax etc

What I can't figure out is when they say public transport, are they also including the commuter trains in that bracket?

We're going to be coming from Paris on the Eurostar and getting off at Ebbsfleet International (we're staying in Dartford -- cheaper hotels). Then when we go to the games we'll take the Javelin in from Ebbsfleet Intnl. Is the Javelin and the other high-speed trains to Olympic Park in Stratford considered public transport?

Is the Javelin included in the public transport that is to be affected?
