how can you have a 2008 car in 2007??

When cars in the UK changed plates on August the 1st they were classed as being registered in the following year. Now especially with the 5x or 0x plates, it's 'when' registered, rather than 'registered for'.

I haven't seen an 09 plate yet even though they came out 3 days ago.

I've seen lots. I know which ones are likely to come out first in each 6 months. Birmingham office usually start with (first two letters) BV, BF, BN, BU, BX and gradually add others BK, BJ BG, BD, BT, BL, BP, BW, BC, BA, BM etc. although once seen, they alternate more random batches from between those already out. Worcester office start with random batches from VX, VU, VO and gradually adds VK, VN, VE, VA, VF, VT.
With the recession, Worcester office only reached VE in the 58s and Birmingham only reached BT, so that shows a huge reduction in sales of new cars. Other offices showed similar slowing down of their sequences. So far in the "09s" I have only seen the "starters" which shows a slowing down. Normally we would have expected to see lots of BK09 and VK09 in our area, by now, but none so far!
God bless from Colin.

Hi.
Only passed my test last year after being a biker for 13 years.
Bought an Alfa 145 2ltr Cloverleaf to learn in. Upgraded to an Alfa 147 2ltr Selespeed Lusso this May.
Would love a drive in hubby's Audi S3 but he says no!!!!

Masturbating isn't only for teenagers, It keeps a lot of grown-ups sane as well, despite what religious leaders choose to tell their followers.
