What are 1st month pregnancy symptoms?

Postby Brelee315 » Tue Jul 17, 2012 4:27 pm

About 3 weeks ago my bf and i had sex, i told him i was off the pill beacuse it was making me sick, and he still didnt pull out, this happened two days in a row. I have been way more tired lately but i have been trying to convince myself its from work, i have been using the bathroom alot more but i do have a history of uti's. and i have been extremly gassy. my appitite has been very abnormal and i have put on a little bit of weight. All the sites i looked at said its still too early to take a test, but the anticipation is killing me! :(

Hello Hun, Im sorry to hear what you're going through at the moment, but if this helps i have been experiencing similar symptoms as you have.

I am not using the pill because as you say it made you feel sick it did me too, i am using a contraceptive implant and have had the implant in my arm for two years now and it is heavy contraception being 99.9% effective for women. Me and my fiancé have a healthy sexual relationship. I am experiencing the same symptoms as you mine being. I have been gassy too, my appetite hasn't so say been abnormal but i can't stop snacking, i feel as though i have put on weight and im only 8 stone, my sleep has always been haywire but lately im finding very hard to sleep but i haven't felt tired..but most of all my peeing as been very frequent lately and im not sure why it is worrying me, im zooming off to the loo every half hour which isn't normal for me. Also a couple of weeks ago my nipples were very sore, sensitive and were sticking out constantly.. but that has toned down a little now, they're not as sore as they were. Also i dont have regular periods since i had the implant in. Every 2 months or so i'll have a day of bleeding if that.

I'd say if you're worried the very first pregnancy symptoms that show would be your breasts being swollen and the aerolas around your nipples (the small bumps on the unraised pink area) they'd be up, they're like aload of small dots. Also your breasts will be showing blue veins. When its the right time take a pregnancy test make sure its the first pee of the day for a more accurate reading as your pee will be a lot stronger to show your horemonal balance. This is just my own personal experience and advice i studied childcare so i hope any of this helps you.

And It would be a good idea to go to your GP and talk to them about your symptoms so settle your mind you cant worry about this alone, your boyfriend on the other hand doesn't seem very careful or considerate when it comes to safe sex and you need to give him a good talking to because this isn't fair on you at all.

I hope everything works out for you hun i really do, best of luck and if you need to talk just send me a message and i'll be happy to help and share problems if that's what you need. Sometimes its just nice having someone to talk to.
