Diabetic and trying to fall pregnant

Postby di1970 » Thu Jul 21, 2005 11:19 am

Hi

I am a diabetic and have been trying for a baby since April 2004. I have gone onto insulin which you are supposed to when trying for and during pregnancy. As yet though we haven't had any luck. I was wondering if there were any other diabetics out though, trying or have fallen pregnant and just want some advice.

I have been feeling sick during the last week, during the morning, afternoon and evening. I'm also incredible tired and since last night i've had terrible heart burn which i can't get rid of, i was up in the night 3 times with it!! I haven't missed a period as i'm due this weekend but i've got no symtons like i normally get around this time!

Obviously the best thing i can do is to go to the doctors, i know, but i just wondered if anybody had any views or words of wisdom.

I look forward to hearing you.

thanks
