Today I got a marketing call from the telephone company, informing me that I could get high-speed Internet for just 20-bucks a month, for 12-months...
So I phoned the cable internet provider, and told them I'm going to cancel their service, and switch over to the telephone internet service because it's cheaper and it's high speed...
The cable-guy tells me that he will boost my cable connection to high speed at the same price as the telephone connection, and he will have his people deliver me a new digital box for free, which will give me better reception and more TV channels...
Just one phone call got me bumped to high-speed internet & better TV cable... I bet they are real scared about this frightening recession, and impending depression... The auto industry is really squirming like worms in a can... and it could even bankrupt those piggy cable companies...
I bet a million tiny retail and home based business will go under in the next 6-months all around the world... It's a buyer's market now.. short and sweet, but it's a buyer's market.. We decide what We will pay for what.. No more of their Bullshit!.. It's a buyer's world, which the big money world is just now discovering, and that the money which supported their frivolous luxurious wasteful careless lives, all came from the billions of poor people's wallets and toils..and that the economy just recently drained the most of the poor people's wallets with that recent money-sucking gas-pricing fiasco.. so the big business world is just this now discovering that their base no longer exists, because they drained it, they drained us, the masses, and now their careless moralless corporate money-sucking structures are all a comin' toppling down under their feet and upon their heads right in their faces...
Even last week my industrial paint supplier phoned me, wondering why I haven't been buying as much paint as I normally do.. and I'm just a tiny wee business... It's because people can't afford to have painting done, but I didn't tell him that... I used the opportunity to get better prices and service from them, in complaining that I wasn't buying their paint because it was too pricey, and their retail staff to often insulted my clients when ever I send clients them to pickup their own paints for my business at my commercial discounts... He informed me that he would correct those problems...
Be ready to haggle, and to wrangle out the best deals for you, now that this is a buyer's market... That's what "Buyer's Market" means... It means you have the upper hand now... If the buyers don't like a business, soon it will go under.. simple as that... The Public can now kill businesses it dislikes, just by boycotting them in this sensitive time...
Businesses are getting more and more concerned and worried because they are selling less and less these days... The Economy is coming crashing down, for it having abused so long and hard the little people, us... Now it's our turn to get a little Life in their hell they built for us... In a couple years we'll be able to purchase nearly new luxury vehicles for less than a thousand dollars, and just maybe we'll be able to haggle and dicker prices in department stores... Easy!.. Go into the stores... Ask for the manager... inform him that the economy is down and falling fast and hard, and that it's hitting you too, and that you are strapped for cash just like everybody else, and that you wish to purvhase said item, if it were reasonably priced.. make an offer.. if he refuses it, go on to the next store, and do it with them... Tomorrow I'm going into the closest mall electronics's shop, which I see in the American-News its parent company has already filed for bankruptcy in the States, but not here in Canada yet... I'm gonna give them an offer of $225 for a $400 tower, just as an experiment, to "test the waters"... I'll bet that tower will be on sale at $200 or less, in 6-months or less, if that store hasn't gone under before then.. but if their parent company went under, they will soon follow.. big stuff that happens in America, generally echoes in Canada 6 to 12 months later...
It's a buyer's market... If you want a cheaper internet connection, make a phone call, and hit them hard, but do it very nicely...
My advice to everybody, is to hold all your money in the bank, or mattress, till the global economy comes falling down to its knees... The global economy is fueled by Your money... Stop the flow of money from the masses, and prices will have to fall drastically, because the wealthy's greatest fear is to have to join the poor in our hell...
