Katie is calling the press again I see.

I live in the same building as they do. We cross paths all the time, mostly at in the lobby, plus I’ve seen her at spin class and while picking up coffee. We’re on a say hello basis, but have never had an extensive discussion. It’s “Chilly today, huh?” and stuff like that. She’s been in town for atleast a week and a half with Suri. She manages to move around very quietly when she wants to, except when she wants some attention. Then the papparazzi are called to make sure everyone knows she’s in NYC. Everyone in the building absolutely hates both of them. They make everything so much more difficult for all the residents. Our doorman has even heard her assistants make the calls and the photographers have told several of us that they’ve been called by the “Cruise people”.

Tom has had his place here for many years as have I, but its only been like this with the press since he’s with Holmes. Don’t get me wrong, Cruise isn’t a peach either. He has tons of people wandering around between his apartments. When he’s in town, there’s a million minions with him. You come out of your apartment and find complete strangers in the hall, just sitting there.

Also, they’re almost never here together. Tom comes into town quite a lot, but he flies below the radar with the press. There are no photographers outside the building when he’s here alone, but when he’s with Katie, there’s a big show out front.

As I mentioned, they own more than one apartment. One of the other neighbors, who lives directly across from one of the apartments told me she stays in one with Suri and he uses another – the one across from her, but I can’t confirm that since I haven’t seen it with my own eyes.

With any luck, this will get back to the Cruise’s and they’ll move. I never had a problem with Tom being here until he and the wife started calling the press, but now, I wish they’d move as far as possible.

I worked in the media in NOLA for 5 years and supposedly according to a friend still in the biz, when Katie and Suri have visited and the cameras haven’t been on them–she and Tom are very aloof with one another. Second hand or third hand gossip, but it seems to be what is happening.

What amazes me tho–if Tom and Katie are considered A listers then where are all the stories about their marriage being on the rocks? If Brad and Angelina are apart for days the tabs are crying break up. Same with the Garner-Afflecks. And every other A list, B list etc couple. So either the media/people don’t care or else Tom’s people are making sure they are keeping the story out of the public’s eye.

Seriously, nobody should feel bad or explain herself for detesting any of the nasty trashing of the children. You have that right to feel what should be decent. I do think there is a fine line between making comments on observations of the kids like how miserable they often look and how they often act up which is more about the negligent "parenting" of the Brand. But to somehow take delight in bashing the kids, that's on another level, isn't it? I didn't care for the forecasting of Maddox as a serial killer, as that is far-reaching even if the poster claims that is from the oh-so-unscientific face-reading. TC is another HW image, but he now knows that over exposure is something to be avoided at all costs. TC survived the couch jumping debacle by laying low annd concentrating his pr on positive and rare sightings. The brand is being buried by their own over exposure and inability to live up to the image they created of themselves.

JoLie is just too OTT with everything and she is unable to be reined in or reasoned with. IMO it is JoLie's insatiable addiction to daily validation in the press that wore out the brand welcome so soon. It could have been a longer term coupling instead of breaking down within 7 years when JoLie's addictions to pr and other things worsened into out of control. With all the media support and ideal placement in projects these two have had throughout their careers [despite having little to no talent] it is impossible for any thinking person not to realize they were selected, groomed, and managed throughout. Maybe JoLie was even bred for this. Her mother is credited with giving both kids middle names that could be used as professional names when they were in the movies. She planned for them to be in showbiz and be a success, even though all Marcia Lynn ever succeeded at was getting knocked up by Jon Voight, marrying him, and then producing kids. JoLie was started out in modeling and rock videos at an early age by her mother and those she may have been working with. Think about that. Pitt was also selected for roles perfect for his limited talent and given lots of exposure and hype. Both had gradual plastic surgeries [maybe done by the same surgeon] that tweaked their faces into golden mean territory. Then the sexiest, best looking, hype was cranked up higher.

However, imo when JoLie's mother died the managers lost some degree of control over JoLie or else the addictions just snowballed, as they will. Addictions have got her. When addictions are fed, they grow. More money, time, and power make them worse too. Both Pitt and JoLie look terrible these days and so old for 40 and 50, especially in unforgiving HW. They should regroup, pull back, work on improving their image by being out of the limelight. Get those kids some structure and regularity, but that will never happen. Pitt may know this is what they should do and he may be trying to do just that [not out of concern for anyting but his image and $$$ stream], but JoLie is in full blown pr addiction mode. She is somewhere in a world of her own frantically trying to avoid reality, like her loons. The loons are so much like elementary school girls. Hate who JoLie and Pitt hate. I am an Aniston fan and never say mean things about the kids. This is part of the ploy to say nasty things about the kids so Jen gets the backlash. Loons don’t have a case against Jen. She is just the ex wife. But some antis and people who say awful things about the kids give loons an excuse to hate on Jen. It has been that way for years.

They are discussed, but usually as victims of the brand due to their obvious distress, lack of attention, and detachment from their parents and siblings. Another discussion is of who sired the bios which is part of the discussion of the enngless mendacity of the brand.

It is also interesting that these nasty and ofoten horrifying comments almost exclusively are posted by unnamed guests. They sound like loons and may be loons trying another genius plan of attack to bump up the forum numbers while trying to get it closed down.
