An Oscar for playing a cartoon character? Kidman did that for her role, but don't forget Kidman can act rings around Jolie.

This is a full on crazy role, but Jolie will OTT even that. She will be unrecognizable in this film because she can't bring even her appearance. By the time it is done she may end up an expensive place holder for the green screen work. Maybe they will even have someone doing voice over for her.

Since 2010 the Ho hasn't found any film roles except using her voice (the panda movies) and now MalefiHo, where she'll be covered in paint, robes, horns. HW is fully aware there's no market for the badly-aging Ho "as is" but apparently she can still beg a role if she promises to disguise herself. And to think just last year she was rumored for Cleopatra. She's toast when it comes to playing sexy, slinky femme fatales.

I don't see how that's embarrassing. Maleficent is green with a slight hook nose. Most are aware of this. If Jolie looked like herself it wouldn't be true to the story. Where as the evil queen in Snow White was beautiful and the fairest until Snow White came along to challenge her. What WILL be embarrassing is if Jolie's performance is campy as fCck, which I'm sure it will be. She may look fantastic but it won't change the fact she gives inconsistant performances.
