Depp: "and what I was pleasantly surprised by is she's not really fazed by it. She's a very normal girl and she's very, very smart and very thoughtful, very kind. Robert de Niro: "She has a kind of Audrey Hepburn-ish quality about her" "She was very good and kind of tough."

Anthony Hopkins: "She's wonderful. I thought the last thing she did about Daniel

NATALIE PORTMAN: ..there are people in my own profession I admire, who have done things and made substantial change, like Bono and Angelina Jolie. MARION COTILLARD: There's an amazing positive energy that comes out of this woman. She has such a wonderful aura.

JULIE CHRISTIE: Let's be realistic, you want to see people like Johnny Depp on the red carpet, or Angelina Jolie, a young woman I admire. That is the place for beautiful young people.

Clint Eastwood: "(Jolie) is the most prepared actress, or among the most prepared actresses, I have ever worked with…. You could shoot almost immediately with her which is something I like to do. "

Octavia Spencer: “I just want everyone to know I’m breaking up with Brad,” she giggled. “I’ve now met Angie and she’s so nice i just can’t continue to take him away from her.”

STAN LEE:

"Notice how Brad Pitt is holding Angelina protectively while I’m with them. But I told him I was happily married and then he relaxed. Seriously, they’re one of the nicest couples in Hollywood — next to Joanie and me, of course!"

And even thogh she isn’t Hollywood I’ll just throw her in there
Hilary Clinton:“What she has done transcends her physical beauty and really reminds us that it’s what is in the heart, and I really want to commend her for what she’s done in such a serious and thoughtful way.”

No sweetie, hollywood doesn't hate angieho, the people that don't go to see her movies do, notice her movies always fail and flop except turista (thanks to depp) wanted (thanks to mcavoy) and tom raider (the fans of the series) oh and mr and mrs smith (thanks to pitt) people don't care about her that's why her movies flops when she is in the lead, and hollywood will kick her well they already did notice her last role was the tourist awful film

lol hollywood loves angie that's why THEY MOCKED HER AND MADE FUN OUT OF HER AT THE OSCARS THIS YEAR EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT WERE IN THE CEREMONY she is not even respected LOL

and most of these quotes are very old or not new lol

correct. these quotes are old. back then everybody was sneaking up her a ss, plus she was indeed a beauty back then, she didn't use her charity work to compensate her home wrecking yet etc. before she met Brad all these quotes mighthave been slightly ok. now nobody eould ever say such things again. she is only remembered as home wrecker number 1.

It's not just about her looks. Her-much ballyhooed attempt to take it to the next level, directing, failed in a manner so spectacular that that door has been slammed in her face and locked forever. She didn't just throw away her money, Brad's money, and Brad Grey's money on that turkey. She threw away her credibility too. She claimed she wrote it in a matter of days, and then just coincidentally happened to get sued for plagiarism. Regardless of what happens with the suit, the damage is done. Not to mention the movie sucked. So acting is all she's got, and she really can't act well enough to get many parts once her looks are gone. So yeah, she'll be tabloid history by 40.

Excellent post, and totally spot on.

crickets, um im not on this forum 24/7 I just saw this post..first of all are some of you really this slow, you say that these quotes are from before Brad, really? So I guess you missed Anthony Hopkins who discusses A Mighty Heart in his praise of Angelina, or Heigl who discusses MAMS, how about Johnny Depp who gave those quotes to Vanity Fair, or Octavia Spencer who made that comment this year, or how about Stan Lee(the dammn picture is of the PGA award lol) Clint gave his quotes after Brad so did Marion and Dustin..and as far as hollywood not accepting alleged "homewreckers" are you serious..half of Holywood has been involved in some scandal or another,..Hollywood wont forgive her over a dammn leg, is this the same Hollwyood that suposrts Roman Polanski and Woody Allen and a host of othesr that have done much worse things then sticking their leg out Oscar night...Hollwyood hates her after Brad, yea sure that why her peers have nominated her for a SAG twice since then and most of these quotes are AFTER Brad...do some of yall even read the shiit you all type

Wanted was marketed with Angelina's image, go check the main poster and DVD cover and even James McAvoy recently said
"I think that if you are going to go without the guaranteed box office draw of Angelina then you need to have an amazing script and an amazing story. I think the studio is keen to make it, and we really want to make it, but we want to make it if it's right and when it's right, and that might not be ever"
http://movies.ign.com/articles/116/1161810p1.html

As far as the Tourist, Angelina and Johnny are BOTH responsible for the success.. Johhny's movies do extremely well when he plays dress up and wears heavy makeup, if you actually check his boxoffice numbers you will see that the Tourist is his highest grossing movie after the pirates series, Alice in W, and Willy Wonka, Torist is next at 278mil and Public enemies is 214mil, if Angelina wasnt in the movie it would have done either the same as public enemies or possibly even as worse as Rum Diary, they BOTH contributed.

Guest wrote:It's already over. An evil Disney character (a secondary character at that) isn't really much of a career. She's only left with cameos after this.

Let's be real, her whole career has been a failure. She's had only 4 successes outside of the Pitt/MAMS scandal movie. They were Lara Croft 1, Wanted, Salt and the movie that Depp saved. Her successes were action movies and she barely eked out a success on Salt so she's done with those.

All the rest were failures. Twenty (20) other movies were failures. (read that loons)

Changeling, AMH, Good Shepherd, Alexander, Sky Captain, Taking Lives, Beyond Borders, Life or Something Like It, Original Sin and so on. All failures.

I don't think her career is over at all. She is prime, ripe and ready for some serious remakes of great movies! She won't even need extensive makeup.

She looks like the lady from Burnt Offerings already.
Image
Done deal as Baby Jane.
Image
She's pretty ratchet already.
Image
This one might be a stretch. I think Kathy Bates is gorg and I always thought she was too attractive for this role. Jolie is perfect as is..
Image
Angelina Jolie Voight is unrestrained, inclined to antisocial psychopathy.

Brad pitt, clint eastwood, JD, ET, the cast of ITBAH millions.. She always finds something/one thing nice to say about her costar/s jealous much and it is sad I comment in this creep thread I totally was avoiding it. There are million actress/actors that this headline deserve but non are half of half of that she is as headline or site keeping.

Hey, back up the cray-cray train, I thought you LOONIFERS claimed Angie's career was ALREADY over, (yeah, sure), so NOW, you're adding years more to her career, what happened, did the "get a clue" fairy konk you LOONIFERS on your tin-foiled hats and finally knock some sense into you....LOL..but you're wrong about Angie only having a career into her forties, Angie is smart, she will be a driving force in HW for as long as she wants.

People are forgetting or overlooking her skinny pins passing off as arms.
I know. I was so shocked and appalled when I saw how thin her arms were I thought I was seeing things. It's like she's crying for help and nobody's listening.
