I agree Faery, in fact when I first heard Pitty make that statement I could scarce believe how arrogant and pompous it sounded.
I would like for any 2 people in love to be able to marry (except siblings ), but for Pitty to come out (oops, not yet ) and say that made me shake my head in disbelief...
Did he expect politicians, anti-gay protesters etc to fall on their swords and pronounce:
"Oh Mighty Wise Bradders, how foolish we have been to deny our citizens equal rights in marriage law whatever their sexual predilection! I've always had the net, but sort of pottered round e-bay & amazon, did my food shop, etc...we were sharing a lap-top so I had to perform a snatch & grab when my son was twiddling his buttons (ps3 or some such nonsense)I have my own now..I'm swish!
I stumbled here purely by accident and just read & laughed for weeks..I read about 400 pages (god knows how many threads that is!)...there are still about 1600 left to read... I haven't the time since I decided to register Too much happy dancing to do and, of course to chat with you all.. I love being here. I am so glad I stayed. I just hope you are
