The weather outside may have been chilly, but things were definitely heating up inside the private residence that <A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/celebrity/?celeb=Jennifer Aniston' target='_blank'>Jennifer Aniston</A> and Justin Theroux rented in Telluride, Colorado over the holidays.

"Jen and Justin spent every night in," a source tells Us Weekly of the oh-so-in-love couple, who stayed in a luxe 13,386-square-foot cabin. Though they ventured out during the day, a witness adds that Aniston, 42, and Theroux, 40, "kept a low profile."

A third source adds that Aniston and Theroux took daily ski lessons -- and it certainly paid off! "Jen is a really good skier," Aniston's good pal Chelsea Handler tells Us. And she should know -- the Chelsea Lately host, 36, spent six days with the couple in the picturesque ski town.

On one occasion, Aniston and Handler left Theroux behind for a girls-only fireside chat over red wine at the hotel Lumiere Telluride. "They were in ski clothes and stored their skis while they hung out," an onlooker tells Us. "Came right from skiing. Super casual."

Once Handler left town January 2, Aniston and Theroux stayed behind an extra three more days -- no doubt to enjoy each other's company before they begin promotional duties for Wanderlust, in theaters February 24.

Just after Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux returned from 10 days together in Telluride, they got back to the business they love most: movies.

The Wanderlust costars, who have been romantically linked since May, attended Monday's HBO screening of Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory.

The couple flanked Jason Baldwin, director Joe Berlinger and fellow actor Orlando Bloom for a photo at L.A.'s Ray Kurtzman Theater, within the Creative Artists Agency.

"They were very sweet and social as always. They're really comfortable with each other," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Seemed like just another night on the town."

Jennifer Aniston could well be set for her most surprising role yet, after the creators of hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother suggested the former Friends actress could be the elusive 'mother' that the show has yet to reveal, despite running for seven seasons.

Creators of the show Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are known for pulling out tricks and twists (getting Katie Holmes to play the mysterious Slutty Pumpkin character) and the duo have been discussing whether 'The Mother' will be revealed before the show comes to an end. Speaking to E! _, Bays explained, "We kind of know what the endgame of the series is. It's obvious this show is around one central question (who is the mother), so that meeting will be part of the endgame of the show. How much the show will go beyond that, we can't really say one way or the other". The casting of the mother is described as "very tough" by the creators, though Bays entertained one surprising idea, saying, "There's one school of thought where she turns around and it's Jennifer Aniston, some huge star. Or you might want someone you've never seen before". It is likely that after six years on the air, the producers will want to go out with a bang and therefore enlist a well-known actress to play the mother - Aniston would certainly fit the bill.

How I Met Your Mother, starring Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel, has been a critical success since its first season in 2005. It is the winner of five Emmy Awards and has received consistently strong ratings - a rarity in the American television world.

Agreed. It sounds ridiculous anyway - at least the copy does. I mean "she's researching it [chocolate dipped fruit] as a side business" just sounds ridiculous to me. Who knows where this came from - the "creative" minds at the National Enquirer, I assume - but it doesn't sound like her at all.

Jennifer Aniston Quitting Acting to Be “Stay-at-Home Wife and Mother”?

“Jennifer Aniston may be ready to say goodbye to Tinseltown,” reports Star.

A so-called “snitch” for the tabloid says, “She wants to be a stay-at-home wife and mother,” adding, “She’s seen the bitter side of Hollywood and is quite tired of it at this point.”

Star‘s alleged insider goes on to claim that the Horrible Bosses actress “is even getting advice from her BFF Courteney Cox, who supports her commitment to life with Justin Theroux — and agrees that family should always come first.”

What a lovely little story.

However, there’s just one MAJOR problem: It’s completely made up.

A rep for Aniston calls the story “false,” telling Gossip Cop, “She is not quitting acting to become a stay-at-home mom.”

Star should have probably waited until the actress was actually engaged or pregnant to make up tales about her leaving her job to focus on being a wife and mother.

I agree that they both look a little tired, but I think what people are seeing in these pics is just poor lighting. They are not taken outside in natural light like candids, nor are they posed on a well lit red carpet or magazine shoot. These were taken inside an office building, so likely under harsh office light (and seemingly with little make-up/styling). Everyone in the pics looks a underlit to me and shadowed which I believe is making them look "tired."
