jen, she certainly isnt helping when she says stuff like that, it just enforces the fact that people think she is just a dumb self centered woman with a good body and all she cares about is drinking and bitching with friends. her being with justin and his peado friend taking pictures of her and being close with chelsea doesn't help either. this is not our jen.

Sorry you feel that way. I didn’t interpret it that way at all. I think nothing will satisfy people who say she is shallow. They don’t really believe it anyway, they just say that because they are mean.

Justin Theroux Throws Birthday Party for Jennifer A.niston on Chateau Marmont Roof!

Jennifer A.niston celebrated her 43rd birthday yesterday and this celebration comes at a great time in her life.

She is in a happy relationship with boyfriend Justin Theroux and the film that they met on, Wanderlust, is about to hit theaters.

And she couldn't have had a better birthday with her party being thrown for her by her love, Justin.

"The party was on the roof of the Chateau Marmont. I've never seen anyone have a party on the roof. They had heaters and tents, and a bar and waiters and staff," a source tells OK!. "Jennifer was wearing a black dress, no sleeves, hair down, like she usually has. Justin was wearing a white long-sleeved button-down shirt with suspenders. She was not drinking at all, all night."

Tons of her Jen's friends attending the party included Emily Blunt and her husband, John Krasinsky, Chelsea Handler, Joel McHale, Jason Bateman. But Jen went crazy when she Jimmy Kimmel arrived with her gift. "She was so excited and made lots of sounds and had a puppy-dog look on her face," says the source. We wonder what it could have been.

In a night filled with white candles and great music, a cross between Adele, hip-hop and light jazz, Jennifer was having a blast. "Justin and Jennifer kissed and hugged and were very affectionate with each other," says the source. "They were both welcoming guests in to the party together. They were just relaxing and she was opening up gifts."

Between Justin throwing Jennifer a birthday bash, and the two of them recently buying a house together, sounds like wedding bells could be just around the corner.

Do you think Justin is the one for Jennifer?

It doesn't help when she says stuff like what? Is she supposed to fake her responses in interviews? As far as I am concerned she has ALWAYS answered questions like that.

Great news about the new project! It sounds really interesting. I know Jen said she was hoping HB would open her up to new role types outside of the romantic genre and it looks like that could be what's happening.

I agree with you. Frankly I find it pretentious for any artist to do anything just because it "sounds good" and just as pretentious for anyone to expect it of them. I quite enjoyed seeing the Merchant of Venice last year (brilliant) but I still resent being forced to read all those plays in school :) Shakespeare is definitely not for everyone.

Not everybody likes Shakespeare. And it's okay not to like Shakespeare or not to want to play Shakespeare. It's a matter of taste, not intelligence.

Being closed with a brilliant photographer like Terry will hurt nobody; it's like being closed with Polanski. Nobody's career will be harmed.

As being closed to Chelsea, I prefer to see her being closed to Chelsea as being closed to a smug or people with holier than thou attitude.

Party on the roof with all of their friends. That is amazing. I would love to see Justin in suspenders. That would be AWESOME. :D

I like the fact that her new project is not American. Its a way for her to spread her wings. If Hollywood won't recognise her talent and ability to bring in audiences with something other than a romantic comedy then someone else would. She should try working in the Australian movie industry too.

I taught sefish means using others belonging to benifte themself or him/herself. or any one who does anything or walk all over anyone to fullfilled the desire you dream for yourself that is selfish. But a women who never use others to satsfieed herself, how is she called selfish because she loves her freinds.

Sorry you feel that way. I didn’t interpret it that way at all. I think nothing will satisfy people who say she is shallow. They don’t really believe it anyway, they just say that because they are mean.

What do you mean by "this is not our Jen?" As far as I have always thought, Jennifer is someone who knows her strengths and weaknesses, doesn't judge people like you seem to be doing to her friends (people you don't know), and is someone who is professional and gets on with other artists and professionals in her industry. I agree with the response to you that there is nothing she could do to change the minds of those who think the way you seem to, and hate on her based on unsubstantiated assumptions.

While Richardson certainly has had a negative reputation in the press, none of the reports about him have ever been established as fact, nor has he ever been investigated or charged, etc. None of us have any idea what is true and what isn't about him. However, we do know that regardless of these rumors he has maintained his professional status in the fashion industry, and is a sought-after photographer. Plenty of celebs must therefore be photographed by him - this month alone he has Jennifer and Rudd for GQ and Paltrow for Harper's Bazaar. These are major names and major publications.

And as for Handler, if you actually watch her show, and see her on Piers Morgan or her amazing interview this week with Rosie O'Donnell, you would see exactly why Jennifer is friends with her. Her comedy act is just that - an act; her routine. No one harps on male comediennes for being blunt, controversial and targeting the famous, why should Handler be any different? In her real life I doubt she's quite the same, and that's clear when you view her longer interviews. She's quite intelligent, well-read, sharp and witty and seems to have a strong moral perspective. I don't doubt that her 20s were spent partying, but the idea that she's heavy into drugs and alcohol now with 3 shows, a production company and a thriving book and film career, is absurd.

Great news about the new project! It sounds really interesting. I know Jen said she was hoping HB would open her up to new role types outside of the romantic genre and it looks like that could be what's happening.

Agree with you ReginaP and Guest that a Shakespearian satire done properly would be a good fit, but a straight drama doesn't seem like the right fit for her, and it's refreshing that she acknowledges this.

Also looking forward to this new project - and especially hearing who is cast as the other female part. Hearing Emily Blunt was at her party last night I will add that I also would be down with her casting! As well - hopefully Jennifer will appear on Kimmel after hearing how excited she was by whatever he gifted her with last night!
