I agree it obvious she called it off the second time. But she did call it off the first time too. His ego was heavily bruised when he spoke to the TMZ reporters. He even admitted it in the 2010 Rolling Stone interview. He tried to pass it off as him getting the blame for the break up
Anyhow, I like how he has flown under the radar. But I hate how this looks like some PR for album sales.

The second one he just said he don't want to pet dogs in the kithcen and basically he can't see himself with the woman who is almost 10 years older than him. Her desperation drove him crazy. I don't why she found someone her age or older and then settled down and do that I am , I do and I will promise at 43 before it is too late I mean if it's not already. NK can't make it at 42 that is why she used the 2nd one through suroggant.

It may be Jennifer kicked him to the curb both times. Mayer sounded like he was trying to save face with his twitter story, etc. He may have thought he had the upper hand iin the relationship, but then when she dropped he she must have explained her reasons for doing so. He seems anxious for people to reassess him now, after all his doofus interviews that caused him really bad press, as they should have. I suspect Mayer was dropped because he was as immature as his interviews show him to be, despite being old enough to know better. This certainly wasn't what Jennifer wanted in a man as she had already had that in spades with Pitt and his runaway ego.

I don't think so he is the one who called the shoot twice. Her desperation what was she thinking anyways a man who is almost 10 years younger would want to play home with her. She can have fun with him and or get pregers for sperm donor and may be a promise to raise a kid together but this is no going to be areal realtioship. She is not bright so is demi( I am sorry for her pain and what is his name was bad to do what he did ) but you are older and must think a head when the sexual crazy dies and real life set in time.

Not that it really matters at this point, but I do believe Mayer was the one to break things off with Jennifer the first time (August 2008). She said in her Vogue interview something along the lines of "he had to put that out there - that he broke up with me." And his statement said as much as well.

As for the final breakup in March 2009 - it's never been said definitively who did the breaking up, but in one of his interviews (Rolling Stone or Playboy) it was put to him that the story was that she broke up with him over his twitter use. He responded saying, "it wasn't exactly that" but their differences were at the root of the split. He basically said she was more private, stable and mature and he wasn't. She didn't like that he was engaging the press through social networking since we all know she is very private and likes to keep her personal life just that. He never denied that she split with him. He also was the one saying how upset he was over their split, that he would probably always love her, etc., and he displayed his hurt in his actions and appearance post-split versus Jennifer's (who seemed to move on pretty quickly). It seemed pretty clear that she was the one that broke things off for good.

He called it quits the first time and then realized he'd made a mistake and she took him back. Even his friends said that he was all in and he never thought she would dump him. When she did dump him that's when he went on that tirade about how he'd made such a big mistake and how he wasn't over her. Mayer was a class A douche (much like the dontspeaknoenglish loon troll) and he deserved to get his heart stomped after the childish crap he pulled. Boyfriend was 32 but he acted like he was 13. I was so glad when she quit him. He was the bottom of the barrel right above pitt. Vaughn was my fave of her boyfriends. That is, until Justin. It took a minute but he certainly grew on me. I can definitely see them making it for the long haul.

I do believe John Mayer did break up with Jen the first time around, but for whatever reason got back together. They are normal people and it does happen so I am not going to judge them on that. I do however believe that she did break up with him the second time around and that seemed to have affected John a lot. Even though John has talked a whole lot about Jen to the media, he hasn't said anything extreme like he has about Jessica etc. He has always said very nice things about her. I believe his long mouth and twitter were factors in their breaking up IMO. I also don't get the deal that the woman is trying to get married to every man she has dated. IMO I don't believe she was ever planning on marrying either Vince or John. With Vince I don't think the timing was right and we John I think it was more of a fun fling than a marriage type relationship. I also think Jen was too mature for him. Either way I am not going to give the guy a hard time because despite him being a douche and a racists he is talented and he also isn't shy to accept his mistakes.

I also was curious about this, because I read it somewhere but I can't remember the website.....ugh. But is Jen godmother to one of Sheryl Crow's son? I read somewhere that she is, but I don't remember hearing anything about it, but then again Sheryl is always on the down low and I don't think that is something we would know. Of-course it might not be true either.

I totally agree with you about Jennifer probably never being really serious with Mayer - I never got the sense she wanted to settle down with him. I think they were a relationship based more on attraction/passion than anything else. I honestly don't get the sense that she's too keen to remarry at all really - as she herself has indicated as recently as last fall. Of her various boyfriends, I think she is closest to this with Justin (being that he's the first she's lived with, bought property with, got a dog with, etc.), but it also wouldn't shock me if she just stays happily unmarried but in a committed relationship.

Obviously ole VInnie didn't feel quite the same way or he wouldn't have been boinking college girls while "supposedly" loving OLD MANNY...the story of MANNY'S life, she can't satisfy ANY MAN...maybe "big Leigh" is the only one that get's satisfaction from MANNY....
