Yes I saw the wink but he didn't give it away. The winners all knew. Everyone who was there was either a winner or a presenter. They even pre-taped J Lawrence's acceptance speech because she was in, I think, Europe.

Just watched it again on west coast time. She was talking exactly how she talks in all her interviews.

I don't usually watch these things but I just caught the west coast replay because I knew her category was first, just to see if I could spot any indication that she was drunk. She did sort of draw out the first sentence of her speech, but no way was she drunk. The line was "do you know how long" so she said loooooooong. Not slurring, just having fun with it.

The public definitely voted for the winners in each category. You can google it and see it referenced all over.
I don't know what that person was referring to but perhaps it was that they didn't vote in the initial vote of who gets nominated and maybe in the past they did.
