18 Oct It’s that time again . . .
She won it in 2007, as well as in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. It’s the People’s Choice Award, and voting has begun for the 2011 PCA’s. Preliminary voting is taking place on the People’s Choice website. Jen is in the running for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite TV Guest Star, and The Bounty Hunter is in the running for Favorite Comedy Movie. You know the drill.

I agree bingbing - I've always thought Jennifer looked amazing in blue (enhances her great eyes). While I think she generally looks great and I always like her clothing choices, I would love to see her wear more colour, paricularly blue, in her red carpet/awards wear. One of my favorite looks of hers in blue evening wear is from RHI. I can't seem to get these to post as pics, but here are the links:

In other Jennifer news, JJ has a story by way of Life & Style on Jennifer's role in Buttercup. Naturally he and the tab are sensationalizing aspects of it, particularly the sexual nature of it, but here it is nonetheless:

Jennifer Aniston is taking on a very different role for her upcoming film, Buttercup!

In the film, the 41-year-old actress’ character kisses a priest and has a steamy phone call with her boss!

Life & Style obtained the script to the film, which includes a line directing Rosemary, Jen’s character, to [lie] half-dressed on her bed. One hand holds her phone to her ear. The other is in her underwear.”

For more on Jen’s sexy new role, pick up the newest issue of Life & Style!

Just to remind people, Buttercup is the film that Alan Arkin has reportedly just signed on to play Jennifer's father in (previously it was thought this role would be played by Tommy Lee Jones). It is a dramedy about their troubled relationship, and should be more in line with TGG and FWM. Here's more from the NYT:

In the wake of his wife's death an aging but grossly irresponsible father puts his life back on track with the help of his slightly neurotic daughter. ~ Baseline StudioSystems

http://movies.nytimes.com/movie/454975/Buttercup/overview

And from Jennifer's own UK HB interview earlier this year:

From Harper's Bazaar

"But she is also turning away from the mainstream with a dark indie film, Buttercup, which she also produces. It is perhaps in Aniston's independent film work that she has revealed the potential of her range as an actor"

then it says

"Buttercup, about a f***ked up father and a damaged daughter who is taking medicines, She has phone sex with her boss. Then her father goes to jail and she has to take care of him."

Also, it seems that Aussie tab report on Jennifer's dog Norman's "depression" has grown legs:

Jennifer Aniston dog 'treated for depression'

Jennifer Aniston's pet dog Norman has reportedly been diagnosed with depression.

Aniston took Norman to a specialist canine therapist after the dog disappeared for a night and started acting unusually upon his return, claims Now magazine.

A source said: "Jen became seriously worried about Norman's mental health after his disappearance. He came back dazed and lacklustre and often didn't seem to recognise her. She's concerned this could be it for him and she's devastated.

"The dog therapist said Norman was depressed and that's what was causing him to act oddly."

The therapist is said to have prescribed the 15-year-old pet with medication, but Aniston is intent on nursing him back to full health on her own.

The source added: "She's hoping to coax him out of it herself. People may laugh at her, but Norman really is her best friend. She can't bear to see him like this, but he's very old and she's starting to accept he might be on his last legs."

It was reported in 2008 that Aniston spent $250 (£159) on massage, acupuncture and Reiki sessions for Norman.

Thanks Guest - I think it is the computer I'm using that is just not allowing me to copy image locations and post pics!

And I agree - very fresh there. I loved her hairstyle in these pics too - very old HW glamour meets modern style!

Guest, while I've liked all of Jennifer's hairstyles over the years, of the ones you've highlighted, I really like the center and right pictures in the bottom row (pics from the ACP premiere and M&M). I really like a longer sideswept bang on her with her hair either straight or curled. She also had a version of this look at this year's Golden Globes and in the W shoot with Gerard Butler - I believe I recall Chris McMillan commenting that he had cut the bangs for the shoot even.

And even though I love her golden highlights, I would also like to see her return to a darker hue for a change - pics of her on the set of Horrible Bosses (where she must have been wearing a darker, longer wig with bangs) looked good. I loved the shade she had her hair in Derailed too for example. Would be nice for a change - maybe for her role in Buttercup.

Really? I don't remember him saying that, but maybe I missed that somehow. It did look nice, though, she looked really sexy in that shoot and at the GGs.

Josh Hopkins

You don't have to remind Josh Hopkins how lucky he is to be a Cougar Town resident. "I've [worked] in this industry pretty regularly... and this is the first show to get a second season. I'm ecstatic," says the likable Kentucky native. We're just as thrilled that he's opening up about his life as one of Wednesday's wittiest, wine-iest friends.

TV Guide Magazine: First off, what's with the tabloids saying you dated and dumped Jennifer Aniston after she appeared in the season opener?
Hopkins: It's awful. I went to one dinner with a friend, and it's been turned into this gross thing.

TV Guide Magazine: At least you're famous enough to be lied about!
Hopkins: Sadly, I'm not. I just had dinner with someone who is!

TV Guide Magazine: So, where are Grayson and Jules headed?
Hopkins: The "will" in the "will they, won't they?" came quicker than expected, and it's great. It looks like they're gonna explore this through the entire season.

TV Guide Magazine: The wine you guys guzzle is grape juice, right?
Hopkins: It is, and it's sweet. We're jacked up on sugar half the time.

TV Guide Magazine: Have you ever been in a "Graysonship" like Jules and Grayson's high-strung- meets-grumpy hookup?
Hopkins: Not yet. [Laughs] Maybe this is preparing me for it!

Looks like Bruce Willis really enjoyed working with Jennifer when he guest starred on Friends:

BRUCE Willis is such a Hollywood bigwig he demands super hot ladies in all his films.

Speaking to Goss at the Red film premiere in London he said: “I only want to work with attractive women in every film that I’m in, regardless of whether it makes sense. I want to do more comedy. I’d love to work with Jennifer Aniston again.”
