So you walk out and stand next to one another while about 75 men yell and call things out and snap photos and then yell "just Jolie" and then "all three". It's not the most comfortable process. And Depp doesn't like this part of the job. And he is probably terrified that if he even smiles at her tabloids will scream affair.

The paps followed him from Venice to Hawaii and took pictures of him, Vanessa and the kids in bathing suits. I think he wants to do as little as possible to prevent re-igniting any kind of interest in him at all.

An agent friend told me that Depp and Jolie got along fine and that they are actually looking to do another project together perhaps Shakespeare. So I will believe him over this board when it comes to insider info. He likes Jolie and Pitt very much. He despise the media machine and especially the tabloids. .

Actually these photos of Angie and Johnny remind of the pics of Brad and Angie at Showest promoting MAMS. I think they were f***king and he's keeping his distance so people won't be able to tell.

Good one. I know some here think JD looks dirty but I'm digging his outfit and the guy is so cool. Do wish his hair was shorter to better show off be his handsome features. But the pics of he and Jolie together are so telling, especially compared to previous premieres where he's actually enjoying himself and affectionate with the female costars. Believe it boils down to respect. He doesn't have any for Jolie and be damned he put himself out for her beyond the bare minimum for the movie PR (interviews).

A gentleman like Johnny loves to interact with a "real lady". What about those perverse jokes Angie told to him? Certainly, Johnny is not amused.

PS: Sure as hell Johnny is aware that the gossip world is watching and that f.reaks like you would dissect every single movement or lack thereof in every single pic that comes out with him and Jolie!

I am going to have to respectfully disagree with you. One doesn't have to dry hump one's co-star in order to show that you get along this is true but, there are just basic mannerisms that happen if one is comfortable to be around someone and if you have one iota of warm feelings of friendship towards them. I don't see any of those here. He wouldn't have had to hang all over her, or be as affectionate as he has shown himself to be in pictures from previous premieres. All he would have to do was actually smile and look like he was at least there "mentally" with this. Johnny looks like he is guarded and has checked out of this whole thing. He doesn't even smile when the director is in the shot and most of his mannerisms are distant even with him. I don't remember there being any rumors about him having an affair with the director so why is he so cold with him in photos too? Its because he is pissed off and wants no part of either one of these people. He only looks more at ease, laughs and smiles when he is photographed by himself.

And on the subject of the "nice comments" about Jolie. What did you expect him to say? He is promoting his movie. He is a professional and he knows how the game is played in hollywood. The fact that he is even AT these premieres considering the total humiliation of having his dramatic/thriller acting called a comedy by the GG team and not hiding on his island shows that he is a professional and will complete his agreements. He just doesn't have to be thrilled about it as you can plainly see from these photos.
