I think she did workout before the 2012 Oscars, and the tiny bulges sent her ego soaring and paved the way for the leg-gate.
She was showing off everything--arms and legs. Dysmorphic in front of the whole world. All these months later, I'm still shaking my head in disbelief, but oddly enough, it feels good to see her downward spiral--she did it to herself. She can't blame anyone. And that is Cosmic Justice in action.

Although she may have been in the best physical shape of her life after all the physical training for TR, it was not her body seen on the screen. Between body doubles, padding, and special effects, it was not JoLie the audience saw. So no, she can't get that body back because she never had it.

Becasue she'd have to eat! They actually had to force her to eat and exercise. I was in her contract. I remember her bitching and whining about it in interviews. Of course even though her body looked better and healthier they still had to use padding for the curves because her shape is just naturally boxy. It was just easier to disguise when she wasn't anorexic.

I didn't know about this, but it totally makes sense. When I saw a picture of her (from The Changeling), she looked about like she does now--scary skinny, all lips and forehead. In TR, she looks thin but fit--but her face and hair turned her all one color, sort of mocha. The heavy brows, the long skanky black hair, the tats...she looked like Lara Croft: Trailer Park Raider.
Before TR, she was goth-girl, but bony. A dead ringer for Morticia in The Addams Family. Now she looks like a deboned chicken.
