What is TWOP?

Television Without Pity. It's a forum for all types of shows but I like reading the snark about the reality shows. To me, it may be low brow but I love reading the ladies' snarky comments. It's not the over-the-top, trying-too-hard schtick kind of snark that I find with MichaelK or Angry Greek Bleet. One of my favorite lines from that forum is "from zero to moose in ___ seconds..." To each everyone's own, right?

Those reality stars and their behaviors are inherently snark-worthy. So it's virtually loon-free. A big plus. As I've mentioned before in other posts, I like reading the comments more than the shows themselves. But I also like a few of the competition shows too. And I seek out spoilers. I want to know the winners before they are revealed.

The downside is those forums are heavily moderated and can be off-putting. But I'm not a registered member (not my thing) so I'm not affected. (Anyone thinking she has a heat-seeking missile on me, believe me, don't believe me. I. Don't. Care. Anymore.)

I don't want to add too much more fuel to that nonsense so I'll try to give you my understanding of what she's doing. All her posts today and actually going back couple of weeks are about this stalker she believes posted the threads with the names - her stalker whom she shares some history with on other gossip sites. One day there were a series of threads with women's full names. They are still on the board if you scroll though the pages.

Here, she alluded in her cryptic, circular speech that I was her, even implying I'm H. Franklin Lane (who would likely not like getting mistaken for me). I'm not as I don't even venture in her hunting/haunting grounds. After this point, I don't care. My advice? Don't get drawn in.

Yeah, the board has been nuts the last couple of days, but I think Sickitten was just trying to reel the out-of-control troll in. The troll had posted literally hundreds of posts attacking pretty much everyone, everywhere. The mods deleted most of them, or you could see the insanity for yourself. Unfortunately, the mods deleted the posts that Sickitten is responding to, so it looks as if SK is just reposting random attacks, when she really isn't.

If you ever see a poster accusing other posters of being "S.imy," simmy," or any variation of that word, or referring to other posters as "jenloons" or "ogre," just ignore it. Doesn't always keep the troll from posting repeatedly, but at lease you won't get blamed for "feeding" her.
