Her shtick is unnecessary UN pr ops with troop photos thrown in because she has no orother shtick in her profession or i HW.

Shirley MacLaine was a offered role in JGW , but it is likely Jennifer met her many times before at events. That is the way true professionals operate in HW, by networking. You get and offer roles by networking having business and social friendships in the industry. That is something Jolie can't seem to manage due to her off-putting personality and her destructive behaviours over the last 20 years and especially the last years since the brand was invented. She has been destructive to others. At least one other woman at that table. Now MacLaine was never an angel herself, but she played the by most of the rules.
