The Hollywood couple - who got engaged in April after being together for seven years - are reportedly looking to have a low key wedding ceremony in Windsor, before jetting off to the South of France to celebrate on their luxurious Chateau Miraval estate in Provence.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''They've always planned to have the official part secretly with just their kids and family.

''They're looking at Windsor register office, where Charles and Camilla and Elton John and David Furnish tied the knot. ''

The source added: ''It allows same-sex marriages, something the couple passionately believe in.''

The insider explained: ''It just seems easier. They'll keep it very low key. They haven't finalised a date, but they are planning to slip out and get married with the minimum of fuss.''

Why aren't they married yet? For a couple who went on and on about not needing a "piece of paper" (any normal married person can tell you marriage is much more than that), they sure are drawing out this whole "promise for the future" thing.

I do think it will happen, they've painted themselves into a corner. And just in case anyone actually bought her line about never reading her own press, this adjustment from wedding planning and talk of ceremony has turned into "just family." It must have stung when everyone groaned at the two fools with six kids, one of them pushing 50, getting engaged and planning a wedding and trying to build it all up like they were fresh and young and so in lurve.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that they are going to marry. They have consistently made the worst possible choices. Hang on to your seats, sports fans. This wedding is a guarantee that they will have a nuclear break-up. That should really be great for the kids.

This business about a 'secret wedding' is probably HIS way of REMAINING UNMARRIED while having THE PUBLIC "think" they are married; that was probably as good a "compromise" as she was able to get out of him! I can't imagine these two mediawhores having a 'secret' wedding anymore than I can can picture HER telling the TRUTH! But I can certainly picture them FAKING a wedding, just like they FAKED that "twin pregnancy" ! A wedding is a whole LOT easier to FAKE than a pregnancy, after all!
