Sandusky alone was horrible enough. That this tragedy may get even larger saddens every heart and makes one ache with the horror. This talk of a prominent and wealthy booster member sickens the soul because of what Paterno turned a blind eye to for his own glory. My heart goes out to those boys now men and I pray that they find peace. At the same time, I fear where this will lead even while I pray that all those who participated are revealed and have justice for those young men prevail. This prominent member worries me. Even while I am coming to believe that this stretched beyond Penn State, I fear how much higher or further it may go. I fear that the numbers of those who knew and did nothing will increase greatly and I just am horrified by the lack of empathy and caring. I fear that I can never again look at the world believing that the majority are honest or honorable.
