From a male perspective I say it's a different world. For a woman I have been told it is not so detrimental to the feeling. But I think the effect on the natural friction is bad for both partners.

It may well feel better for him, but if you are not sure of any STD status or don't want to get pregnant then best to stick with it.

Unless he's got a medical reason for not using one, I wouldn't see a reason to go without it, until you're totally happy with using another contraception method and you're happy with his history / sexual health. If he keeps pushing you, get the hell out of there.

Is it better without? For us guys, it's a nicer sensation without - there are some sensations that a condom stops us feeling, like wetness and heat, which is a big shame! Also, coming in a condom can feel a bit constrained sometimes. But - the other possible big advantage for you - is that the reduction in sensation can mean that us blokes can keep going for longer. So, no condom might mean it's better for him and less fun for you.

Bottom line - it should be a joint decision, never do anything you don't want to.

It's a lot better without one on for the guy for sure. Not as big of a difference for a girl but I like to feel the guy, not the condom. But if you're not on the pill you should use one.

It is a world better without. It looks as though that is unanimous. But, if you and your bf have been using condoms consistently, and correctly in the past, and he is now wanting to stop using them, I do question his motivation. It's probably just a matter of wanting to get you on an alternative like Depo, or the pill, or something.....so he can go without the condom and not worry about getting you pregnant. But, it's a weird world out there, and people do crazy things....there's just no telling for sure. Sit his ass down, and ask him what is going on in his head!

i agree with jinjin. it would likely feel better for you both, no doubt. but he seems a bit selfish, and, unless you're on the pill, pregnancy is a strong probability. it's your body--best protect it!

It is night and day difference with or without a condom. I have not used a condom in 6 or 7 years and that is a good thing. I think if you are in a committed relationship and you get on birth control, then for him without a condom will be much better experience and I am sure feeling his juice in you after sex will make you even feel closer to him.
