Thanks for the article & the chart, they were both very interesting :)

I found it interesting that the chart still doesn't put Classical Liberal directly in the centre, but creeping up, away from Totalitarian and towards Anarchist.
I would have expected it to go the other way (if it were not to be in the centre), mainly due to Plato's "Republic" idealising a sort of . state (granted, not Totalitarian, but still...).

Wait...why is that word that describes the government of Nazi Germany that begins with an "F" censored?

I would put Obama somewhat left of the center of your chart, horizontally speaking, and about 3/4 of the way down, vertically speaking.

Question should be why has america, the only country that ever really had 'freedom' has allowed itself to be taken over for the last 80 years by the same banking groups and foundations which are destroying europe?

and as one man said, if voting changed anything, it would be outlawed.

You can continue to believe in democracy, but the truth is teir is very little difference betweeen the two partys. Both supported by the same baning insitutions, both supprt the monetary system, that alone should indicate that a fix is in.

"...USA, Only country that ever had 'freedom'.." You have got to be joking.

Australian citizens for one, right now have more freedom than USA citizens both internally and can travel more freely internationally.

Back to OP, issue with USA is civil libetairians and fight for liberty etc etc that something you cannot see the forest for the trees. Sometimes a govt needs to be able to tell its population how its going to be because its the right thing to do.

In reality citizens of most countries have very limited freedom and that includes the UK, usually it's freedom provided you do as you are told. As far as the US being the "land of the free" tell that to John Sinclair who was sentenced to ten years in prison for possession of two cannabis joints. Under Blair the UK government wanted the power to detain terrorist subjects for up to 90 days without trial.
