Santorum represents everything that is wrong with the Republican Party in one tidy package.

I guess we were wrong expecting it wud be a Romney -Perry race , elections are full of mystery & surprises.

On MSNBC a commentator said Perry has enough money to stay in the race till the end but why wud he if Romeny is winning ?

Santorum /Sanitarium is anti abortion so I don't like him .

Santorum is Mike Huckabee.
He's going to get a lift when Michelle ends her run, and she might be the first one to drop - although the lift would only be a couple points.

Romney should cruise through New Hampshire, and Huntsman put all his eggs in that one basket. Somebody is gonna take a pretty big hit....I'm guessing Newt.

I can't see Perry working his way back in this thing. He just needs to stay on the fringe through South Carolina then cut a deal with somebody.

Hmmmm..................

Maybe so , Newt & Bachmann look like they are out of the race.

Perry could do well in some right wing states southern states .

Old Ron , what of him ?

Michelle Bachmann has just dropped out of the race .

More to come either this week and certainly next week after the New Hampshire primary .

Perry looks to be teetering too.
Going back to Texas to reassess, rather than straight to New Hampshire isn't a good sign for him. Surpised it would be so quick because he has so much money.

Newt's in trouble, but we'll see what happens in New Hampshire. Romney (the social liberal), Paul (the small government), and Santorum (the religious right)...just had a Breakfast Club flash back...seem to have all the party nitches covered.

Romney picks up McCain's endoresement, but that's likely only influential with people that already liked Romney.

I see ............the plot is thickening isn't it ?

Think Newt is out after next week or the latest by the South Carolina primary.

Watch Chris Matthews coverage ? It's fun since he knows so much & loves politics .

Romney wins !!!

Thats out as surprising as the sun coming up since he was the predicted winner .

Still close to 60% of the vote went to other candidates which means Mitts support is not rock solid .

Too many far right wing candidate's , if there had been only one with a better appeal then the ones running now Romney wud have lost .

Ron Paul came in second ..................although he has some crazy ideas about race relations & the gold standard moi likes seeing the old boy stir things up .He's no fan of the tail wagging the dog relationship with israel too which is great .

Huntsman came in 3rd .................good for him . Maybe the nominee in 2016 ?

The next primary in the 21st in south Carolina , a very conservative state where some of the remaining right wingers could do well. Bet their all hoping & praying too.

No word on the candidacy of Pastor Terry ' The Koran Burner 'Jones ...............dam liberal media !!!!

This was my prediction, and i was off a little bit. Huntsman did register with a respectable 17% or so, but it was Santorum taking the hit more so than Newt.

As Lena mnetioned South Carolina is a shift back to social conservatism so its probably going to be the last chance for Perry & Santorum. My guess is Santorum rebounds a little at Romney's expense and Perry officially suspends the morning after.
