i have been gone for a few weeks. i come back and it seems FF has gone to a completely G rated agenda? What Gives???

Horoscopes, Freebies, and Competition forums are utter S***, yet the sex forums and Just For Men get fucked off! Requests for information get ignored, and the forum is boring! If I were an advertiser here, I'd think about pulling my business.

Other than that a forum is only as lively as the community members itself, unless there's a big enough selection of active members (which there isn't here) or some sort of common purpose (which I've never managed to discover here) then it will appear lacklustre.
The lack of information on any changes or response to questions is perceived as a lack of organisation or plain old complacency. No involvement with members for suggestions for improvements leaves the community with only apathy for company.


Inefficiency always will result in lost revenue one way or another, that's common to any business.

Ahh, there are plenty of other examples of lively interesting forums where there's hardly a mention of the anything below the waist, it all depends what sort of "members" one likes to keep company with I guess.

Ahh, but losing other topic forums hasn't generated this much ill feeling before. Lose Horoscopes, or Competition, or freebies....nobody will bat an eyelash. The loss of all the sex forums.......it just isn't cricket!

The fact that those sections you mention are (mostly) empty means there's wasted resources even putting them on-line if no-one will generate any action there. Personally I am merely inconvenienced at seemingly being in the position of not being able to officially access my own posts... not cricket and bad form indeed.


As for the endless threads about knob size and similar by the intellectual equivalents of cannon fodder, I have little interest apart from the amusement to be had dishing out a random prod here & there to include a bit of real amongst all the BS...

The board used to have A LOT more activity. A couple of years ago, nearly every section had a page worth of new posts and topics. Now, even in Members Chit Chat, you'll see two or three days old responses. SOme of the more colorful and animated members have gone, voluntarily or otherwise, but the action was always there with them around. If "Just For Men" were still around, I'd say look up a guy named "Fred75," he was a gas. He'd annoy the hell out of you, and you'd laugh....all the while, wanting to scream at him.

This place was much more fun even as recently as two weeks ago..... alas, no more.....unless some things are changed back for the better. But that is out of our hands.

I see, I have been a bit surprised at the lack of activity considering the number of posts/threads the forum had, it's kinda why I decided to sign up in the first place.

Well, Fred has been gone, with no indication of interest in returning. Last we heard, he found himself a staunchly liberal chat board, to discuss conservative interests in painstaking detail.
