I think I can see what they were trying to say, but they must have found the worst possible way of saying it - I mean, have you ever met a woman who has had a "happy" period? Unless of course it's her last one I suppose.................

I'm not offended at all to be honest..

I think the period thing is hyped up. Maybe i'm just lucky because i'm relatively unaffected by it, who knows.

ah dont u just love the feminine hygeine ads? notice how no overweight, middle aged or plain women get periods? Well not in those ads anyway. All male advertising execs who approve this utter crap should be subjected to daily prostate exams carried out by large russian customs officers called Ivan.
this life is a re-enactment, dramatisation, may not have happened.

I think adds for both men & women have become quite patronising.

Men are usually betrayed as immature adolesants & women are portraid as always suffering from bladder weakness with indigestion who should cheer up & have a happy period.

i switch over when this ad comes on.
just coz i wear a brand name sanitry towel it wont make my period happy
i got the implant and i have only had 2 periods since (but i now have weight gain)
my periods have always been heavy and uncomfy whether i have worn tampons or towels it has never made the slightest difference... i use deep heat and feminax does help sometimes (i havent tried the extra strenght one yet) but i still am not happy to be on my period!

WHY NOT TRY HOMEOPATHY. ONE SINGLE DOSE OF SEPIA MAY REMOVE ALL PAIN AND ITS EFFECT MAY LAST FOR YEARS. YOU ARE SUFFERING NEEDLESSLY BECAUSE OF AN EASILY RECTIFIED CONSTITUTIONAL IMBALANCE. FEMINAX IS ULTIMATELY USELESS TO YOU.

I HATE those ads. Especially the ones for the scented pads where the fan wafts over the girl's dress... horrible.

Azraelle, I was about to say the same thing as you until I saw the reference in the first sentence to "weeklies". If taking these supplements means your going to have a period every week, I think I'll give them a miss.................

I missed that too--just shows how much into his own little world Cosmic is in, though.
