Really, I have amassed a group of interesting & amusing friends around the country... it's a spin-off from when I used to travel the world before the internet was so popular. What is not amusing is when they assume "hey, lets hang out just for fun" means "hey, I wish to lumber myself with economic crap, your emotional baggage & some superficial pawing over me" by mistake you see.
