What kind of clothes do you wear in winter ?

I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt, as I hate wearing formal dressing. But in winter season i choose to wear leather jackets, leather pants or leather shoes.


What about you?

Depends where I am and what i'm doing. If I'm at home or in the office then pretty much the same as a wear in the summer/spring/autumn. If i'm out then usually; thicker top/jumper, or thin top and zip up jumper, coat, jeans, socks, trainers.

Love wearing my North Face down jacket for everything but work, but have a Gore Tex North Face for that, it means that with my fleese underneath, the only way to keep warm is to keep moving. As i work in retail that isnt a problem, just serve more customers or put out another case of stock and im fine.

Outside of work ive got to have a down jacket. Much warmer and also much more practicle, altho bulky, keeps me warm. In the new year i can see me trying to get a canada Goose down jacket as my current TNF is showing its age, this time last monday it was feeling its 3 years of age when i was waiting for a taxi for arround 5 hours when the snow and extreme cold put Central Scotland into parolisis.

Good thing about down jackets is that even if its arround 10C you can still wear them with only a T Shirt under them and still be happy.

When its less cold i wear a heavy hoody or zipper and a gillet. Sometimes if i can get away with it, just a T Shirt and my Gillet.

Jeans and boots are also a must. Wellies too if needed.

If I'm out for any length of time it's all layers and trousers (or thick leggings) because it's been so darn cold and I gets the chills easy.

I just stayed at home today, so I was in old clothes for working around the house and garden, with jeans, socks, closed in shoes and a thick fleecy lined top.

Doesn't really change from summer, still dress or skirt, but usually with boots, thicker material and usually below the knee to ankle length. I might wear leggings and jeans more often as I won't be wearing shorts or when I would have wore shorts, but just because its colder why does it have to change much. Just longer and heavier material. Long skirts made from heavy denim, suede or cord can be extremely warm when paird with knee boots, even without stockings.

Tops same, long sleeve jumpers (sweaters) which can look sexy and a nice jacket or coat if required, usually leather unless

Lovely high heeled leather boots matched with long leather skirt. I've a large collection of leather jackets and coats that get aired whether dressed for work or casual. If very wet then one of my macs helps keep the elements out.
