Underarm sweating

Postby dantely » Tue Mar 20, 2012 11:56 pm

Does anybody use underarm pads and what is your oppinion of them. Tried all anti-prespirants and odabans and you name it...and heard about those pads so would like to know if any of you have experience of using them. They seems to be a healthy alternative to deodorants but sound uncomfortable. Anybody........

I don't use pads, I like to go natural!

Shower, soap, body scrubber, and a good antiperspirant. Seriously, though.....I'm not so sure the human body doesn't get used to the way a certain product works...like taking too much of an anti-biotic will eventually make that drug useless for the body...

When my pits start getting rank with a good product, I switch up. I have found Mitchum and Degree work very well.

I use underarm pads regulary. It took some time ( first half an hour) to get used to them and stick them on the shirt but latter on you don't noticed them and it gets easier puting them on. I don't find them uncomfortable but don't think they are suitable for bad sweaters. If you sweat too much then sweat goes over the edges and it leaves marks. For moderate sweating I think that they are perfect. I used to use Anhydrol Forte that would stop me from sweating and it did but it doesn't feel natural aplying tons of chemicals that blocks your glands. I mean, that can't be right. Now I just put on the natural deodorant , stick the pads and it's sorted. :D

There's a special deodorant DRICLOR and another one PRESPIREX i think, you can get them in boots for about £7. It does the magic - BUT, the arm pits start itching so bad, that i couldn't sleep at night and then was scratching them all the time next day. It irritates your skin and impossible to use. Would recommend for a "special occasion", but impossible to use every day :(

I had a same problems with them. They are certainly not friendly for sensitive skin.

For the same reason I've stoped using them. They keep you dry but it's big price to pay.
ALIPALI, how do they stay in the place, are they reliable not to fall off, do they show under clothes

Yes, they stay in the place but preform differently on the different tops. on cotton is fantastic, it's invisible and it's stays 4ever, on silk or on very light, see through tops is not perfect, they still do the job but you can feel them. At least the brand that I'm using, I'm not sure for the other brands. There is quite few available on Amazon.

Nonchalante underarm pads, I've been using them since last few months and they are ok. Some of them are really, really waste of money...

Thanks. One more thing, how does it work when you taking them off, do they damage material if it's too sticky

Not that I know, they're safe. Sometimes when you are putting them on they can stick to each other and then they are wasted but if you're careful it's fine. I wasted few pairs in beginning which is frustrating as they are not that cheap, but now I'm used to it. Also they tend to have different price on different sites so check it out before you buy.

I use them every day actually, and they are brilliant, with them I can wear something other than black.
