I used them for a while and didn't like them much. Didn't stay on the clothes for a long, white fluffy bits were everywhere but did like the idea. I think they were called sweatex or something like that. Never heard of Nonchalante but might give it a try as I still have the same problem.

I find Nonchalante pads very reliable :D and they do stay on the clothes, especially on cotton. On silk and some light materials, so so. They don't leave any " fluffy bits" or at least I didn't see any so I suppose you should be fine checking them out.

heard about those pads so would like to know if any of you have experience of using them. They seems to be a healthy alternative to deodorants but sound uncomfortable.

I have been using them for over year now and in my experience they are very comfortable. They are alternative to a strong antiprespirants but I don't think they are alternative to deodorants, at least not for me, as I still have to use them. ( natural and very mild without aluminium) Some of my friends who are lucky one and don;t have a smelly sweat don't use any deodorants. Usually deodorants just cover up the smell but they don't stop you from sweating. For that reason I find underarm pads very useful as they absorb all the sweat and prevent it from showing on the clothes as well as protect the clothes from the sweat and deodorant stains. It takes some time till you get used to them but once when you do, you don't notice them at all. There is a few available and I've tried some of them. I'm using Nonchalante underarm pads and as previous post suggested if you buy them, buy them directly from Nonchalante site as you can get better deal there.

They obviously didn't like my silk blouse as they didn't stick around for a long but we got through on the end. On everything else, they worked well. Good thing to have handy.

Wow, Christian O'connell from the Virgin or Absolut radio was talking about Nonchalante pads in his breakfast show this morning. I was screaming " I'm using them, I'm using them" but didn't think he'd heard me.

Under arm sweating and odor can both be reduced, but not eliminated, by shaving.

I find that when I'm shaving, my glands sweat even more for the first few days.

I find it much more pleasant to shave my arm pits.
