Is your slip full length?
I did'nt think girls your age wore a slip?
I'm 36 and wear a slip at work under my suit to keep warm this weather .Although with a lined skirt you don't really need one.
You'r obviously a sensible girl.
No, it's a half slip. I wear it to stop the lining sticking to my <A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/23_52' target='_blank'><A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/23_52' target='_blank'>tights</A></A>.
Why can't girls my age wear a slip? There must be others....
Judging by the posts on "Ladies-show your slip" there are some, Clapper,sarahjane113,Karen,buffyfan to name a few.
All I meant was that wearing a slip is not as popular as it was when I was around your age (mid 1990's) due to :
Fashion, availabilty (try finding a lace trimmed slip in the shops)popularity of girls wearing trousers, ladette culture,anti-feminists, equality, practicality of wearing trousers in jobs such as Police, Nursing, Shop assistants (hardly any wear a skirt/dress as uniform now) lined skirts (although some do stick to your <A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/23_52' target='_blank'>tights</A> as you say) and so on.

My husband would like you, he's always nagging me to wear a slip (says it's a sign of femininity, but I think he has a fetish) under my skirts nearly all of which are lined , so generally I don't.
Anyway, today I'm wearing:
White blouse
grey suit skirt (lined)
grey matching jacket
black hold up <A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/23_52' target='_blank'><A HREF='http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/23_52' target='_blank'>stockings</A></A>
black high heels

I suppose it's become a bit of a habit really. I used to wear them under my school skirts and just have done ever since. I suppose I'm a bit odd 'cos I reckon a lot of girls my age don't.
