The have you ever game

I ask a question that can only start with 'have you ever'. But i can only ask about things that have actually happened to me. The next person then answers the question and asks the next one.

e.g
i could ask: 'Have you ever had to run away from a herd of angry cows?' or 'have you ever wondered why the sky is blue?' because i have.

However, i can't say 'have you ever crashed your car?' because that has never actually happened to me. I hope this makes sense.
