I assume you mean menses. Did your girlfriend explain why the doctor said it was dangerous? Are you or is she of the Islamic faith?

Sex during a girls period can in fact feel much better for the woman. The issue here is that you can feel kind of dirty (in a bad way) during those few days and when you are young it can be a little embarrassing too. Your girlfriend may just feel uncomfortable with sex during her period and wants to avoid you making a move on her.

Generally it is not unhealthy nor is it dirty. Now, if your girlfriend already has a sexually transmitted infection or disease then the blood flow would increase your chances of catching it. However, if this is the case then you should always be wearing a condom. There is also a small chance of pregnancy during menses and to be on the safe side you should keep using your normal birth control.

Are you catching my drift, young one?? She's just nervous, and probably thinks you'll get disgusted by some mess. If you really love her, reassure her, and don't put pressure on her. One thing....during PMS, cramping is really bad on most ladies. Researchers have proven that providing strong orgasms to women with cramps, relieves them......so while intercourse may be out of the question now, if you can help her out with some of that discomfort using your fingers, she might just warm up to the idea of intercourse, just because you were able to make her feel better when she really needed it.

perhaps doctor is thinking about the blood being around and chance of picking up aids and such like from blood.
we enjoy it but do miss the first couple of days when the blood loss is at it's worst. Brad.

Aren't anything wrong with having sex while she is on her period,just as long as the both of you are comfortable doing it.Now it do get a little messy like the others said.Alot of people says to use a condom,but I was told that you don't have to as long as you ar her are not going to be having sex with anyone else.

It feels good to be honest, yes it can be a little messy but whats a change of sheets and sensual shower ...... i always feel very horny when i am on and my orgasms can be really strong.... plus my boobs tingle x
