I think marriage is suppose to between a MAN and a WOMAN! Like what it says in the bible!

What do you guys think about this Gay Marriage Rights Amendment?

There's nothing in the Gospels that claims being homosexual is wrong or right. It's never mentioned.

Additionally you may want to think about the following facts.
1) All men were expected to be married in the Jewish tradition, it would be very suspect and highly unusual for a man to be unmarried at the age of 20. Jesus died unmarried over 30.
2) It is highly unusual for a man to associate with 12 other men to the exclusion of a family life in the Jewish tradition. Jesus spent virtually all his time in the company of twelve men with a strong attachment to him.

Before you get outraged, re-check your gospels for any indication that homosexuality was ever an issue for Jesus or the earliest Christians. The Romans and Greeks of the time found sex with anything to be nothing more than an enjoyable pastime. It's only latter Christianity and Jews that found issue with it.

Those quotes are from the Old Testament, which pre-dated Saint Augustine.

How can you discredit the Bible and at the same time invoke God by calling those who accept the Bible's proscription against homosexuality "ungodly"?

That you consider "extreme terrorists" the people who exercise their freedom of religion and freedom of speech in saying homosexuality is immoral, confirms your unhinged depravity.

I really don't think there should be anything that says homosexuals are worth less than hetero people, but I don't think they should be married. Marriage was something made up by humans with the idea of getting together, staying together, having kids, and raising a family.

No thanks, I sat through many biology courses at my universtity and nowhere did we discuss homosexual animals, not that I am positive that they don't exist but I would suspect this. Feel free to enlighten me on how homosexuality fits into natural biology because it seems pretty obvious that it doesn't. Just because two members of the same sex can make each other achieve orgasm doesn't prove anything.

I don't think they've proved that theres a gay gene yet, but I could be wrong.

When I said "marriage was made by humans" I meant it was something that was made up. There were reasons for it, and a purpose for it. I wasn't saying they are not human.

they can raise a child, but it won't be their child unless they had a previous hetero relationship, surrogate, or something along those lines...They say they are living "alternative lifestyle"...that's fine!! they can have their own alternative to marriage.

Your teacher was probably afraid to bring it up. Crowding rats for instance causes a significant number of them to become homosexual and to ignore female rats. Homosexuality is fairly normal in lower animals and human animals too. Western thought is based on the philosophy of the Greeks, notorious bi-sexuals.
