Dream't I Was Peeing

I've pee'd in bed a couple of times in my life since I was a child. Both times I was dreaming I was standing up and peeing as normal. Both times I was lying on my back, and wet my pyjamas, not the bed.

I have the same dreams when I need to pee while asleep, but something prevents me from wetting the bed. I dont know what that is however. I often dream that I am searching for a toilet but they are all occupied, or broken and this prevents me from going.

At this stage my brain takes over and says, "wait a minute, this isn't real" and I tend to wake up. On occasions I actually dream that I am peeing, but I 'pee' for ages and the need to go does not decrease. Once again my more conscious brain intervenes.

I am a relatively light sleeper, but I presume if you end up wetting the bed you sleep more heavily and the signals are not getting through to wake you.
As others have suggested, visit the toilet immediately prior to going to bed every night, and perhaps lie on a couple of towels, to prevent your bed being ruined.

This morn I had a dream I was loading an OS to a computer... It was so real, just like I do it... There was nothing else to the dream, just me tapping at the keys, glancing at a screen, and inserting CD's... just me setting up a PC... Maybe I needs to get out more often..? That's the first dream I had with a computer in it...

I dream't i was peeing and wet the bed which is weird because i haven't wet the bed since i was 15 i'm now 25 it's really weird because i wasn't drunk or anything. Any explainations for this because its really embarassing and i wonder if i can stop it from happening again

I had a dream like this last night - i was having a pee on the toilet with my daughter peeing on her potty and i woke myself up because i suddenly thaught i was peeing the bed! Thank goodness i hadnt peed the bed, but i had to get up and go to the toilet at 3am ... which i NEVER have to do!!

Its eyes squint in adding more willpower... It forgets I can kill dragons... I holds my ground... Its eyes begin changing to a softening look... Dragon slowly becomes Woman-Immaculate... I rubs my face to Miss Dragon's face, as I digs my fingernail into her hand, making blood flow.... She squirms and writhes in whisper's orgasm, a sigh like last breath.. chilled quiver... puddle where once there was dry... She bit me!.. The little bugger bit me...

You must have been dreaming of being locked out of your house ,I think we have all had that happen or had a near miss .I would just take it as a 1 off unless it happens again .

I have dreams I'm peeing .. I do make it to the toilet in them of course. I end up waking up and having to pee really bad so I go to the bathroom. eh subconscious bull

Normally your brain is totally disconnected from making your body do any actions while asleep. Otherwise there would be all sorts of mayhem and violence.
It's only when very stressed that this can go wrong. (Mostly talking, flaying about, sitting up, etc.)

I have extremely vivid dreams, which do sometimes include peeing. Fortunately that action seems well blocked.

The only obvious exception is coming, which if it happens in a dream also happens in the bed.

I've had urination dreams lots of times. Thankfully they were just dreams and I never wet the bed, but in the dreams it usually just kept coming out and wouldn't stop! And yeah, usually when I woke up I had to go.

After reading the original post and replies i am a bit relived. This seems to be to a normal thing. I thought i was wierd or abnormal but if the poster can get such dreams and wet her bed @ 25, i guess i at 17 ain't too bad .But ya this is too embarassing. My mom found it out (not that i have dreams, just that i wet bed) and took me to doc. The doc asking questions is more embarassing.
