"Hot Ice" by Orson Diemel and his group "Melchisidech"...
They disbanded before they took-off... Too bad too, it was a powerful heartfelt song.. and Orson looks a lot prettier than Elvis... I wonder if he's still with Phaedra..?
Has anyone ever heard "Hot Ice"..?
My favorite verse in it is, "the moment you need her.. she's gone"...
It reminds me of a couple hundred long lost relationships...
_______
Anyone ever had the opportunity to rifle through the boxes of 45's, of songs that got cut, but never made it, and got dumped for cheap quick-sale, at Nashville record shops..?
I found one super good one, "High School Days".. It had a good flip-side, but I just can't recall the title at this moment...
My favorite oldies have always been.. Ray Peterson's "Corinna, Corinna"...
and Don Gibson's "Sea of Heartbreak"... That moan he does in the beginning of the song makes my heart skip a beat...
