I went to Woodstock (lucky me!) but wasn't much into drugs or music, but it was a fantastic weekend. Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendricks, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Arlo Guthrie, etc.
Three days of rain and mud, nakedness was off to the side, but visible if you went over there (which I did). Peaceful for a city of 400,000 people. The local police just gave up and let it happen. Glad I went, but I got dragged into it as I had the car, a VW and we parked within 300 feet of the stage. It probably will never happen again.
