Are you saying you would have yelled out "High Five" stuck your hand up, and when she stuck her hand up, you would have thumped her forehead?

Well, that could have been funny too! Or snagged that pen away from her and boldly jot down "PRWHORE" across her forehead in black ink--then took the picture!

That's it. FF has to take up a collection to send you to Ho's next premiere so you can carry out one of your wonderful schemes! :D

Well, I was actually just behind the front row. I heard a reporter ask her what she had to say about her oscar nomination and she answered that she didn't know because she had not got the time to think about it...yes right
French reporters kept asking her to say something in french and she just ignored them :D
What striked me also is that she has no class when she walks.
And to finish, it was funny because I had a bunch of french loonies next to me and when Brangelina arrived I heard them say "Wha she's beautiful" while it was impossible for them to really see her... I think there is something like "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...

Anyway thanks for the kind words, I didn't almost die asphyxiated for nothing

how long does it take to learn french anyway? she said she was learning years ago! bogus woman!

leila, nsi wrote:Thank you Neeve! I remember you from last year, and was jealous of the person who worked near the Champs Elysee. I think she knows she is outclassed by the Parisian women and went to a plain grey coat. She has absolutely no sense of style, and I found it amusing that the few times we saw her in France prior to "the births" she was wearing a dress (black of course). I would bet that hair is a wig, or lots of extensions, because although it is dry, it is thicker than usual and likely loaded with products. I have always thought she had a very unclassy walk. There is a funny clip from a movie, but I haven't been able to find it again on You tube.

How have the Changeling and BB been received in France? I was a bit suspicious when the results for the first week were printed for Changeling, and if it was correct, it sold more than it did in the United States for one week. It also included Moroco, but unless Clint is some kind of icon there, I was surprised at the numbers.

Thanks so much for taking the time! They sure pimp these movies to death.

Changeling made 1,3M entries in 8 weeks so for a Clint Eastwood movie I think it is not big (French are big fans of Clint). It was n°1 the first week but it was mid-november with nothing else coming out at the same date and went quickely down... If you want a comparaison Australia made 1,6M in 4 weeks just on Nicole's name because Hugh Jackman is not very well known here and Twilight 1,3M in 2 weeks, and people here tend to go to the cinema a lot more at the end of the year.
For BB we have to wait.
Someone asked if there were a lot of people. Well, yes but it doesn't mean anything because you're on the Champs Elysées where there's always a lot of people. There was a lot of photograps and journalists and a lot of tourists (the two girls in front of me were Russian) and a big part of the crowd didn't intend to be there, they didn't know but as they were passing by they stopped to take a picture. So as to determine their ability to attract people that's kind of difficult. At the beginning I would say there were maybe 50-70 hardcore fans (with photos and all that) waiting for them.
I think that most of the time, the press make all the fuss about it. If I was not following the circus nobody around me would have known they were coming not even me collegue who is kind of a BP fan...

So nice to get a first hand account that isn't sugar coated or spun to the hilt. With everyone trying to spoon feed the adoration, it's nice to hear an honest take.

:thankyou:

She couldn't say one thing in French? She has been claiming that she is learning French for several years now. Even before the Pitt years.

As for her walk, personally I think a bad walk can ruin the whole thing. You can be dolled up in a beautiful dress with beautiful hair and makeup, but if you can't walk like a lady the whole look is ruined.

It's like when she eats. She has no class at all.

There is nothing refined about her.

Neeve79 wrote:I'm working near the Champs Elysées (avenue Matignon for those who know...) and as my collegue loves Brad Pitt she asked me to come with her to the Premiere...
So to be short, they came together, she was very classic in her style (long grey coat, long hair not attached). She is way smaller than I though (I am 5'6, she was maximum as tall as me, and I think she had heels). Her hair were very dry and thin and she seems to have a lot of make-up. The most stricting is how thin she is, her arms are as small as the arms of a child (and not a big one).
He was not as in bad shape as I thought (maybe he got a shot of botox just before the premier...) but I put on weight (and mostly in the head  ). He wore a grey suit still with a long grey scarf and like her he seems smaller in person.
I took some picture with my i-phone (at night with people moving so very difficult to get a good one).
To finish, I will say that I didn't see any affectionate gesture between them (then again when they entered the cinema, she looked at him but he didn't);
Here one of the clearer picture I got

This is an interesting thread. Are there any more like this in the archives where any of you have actually seen them in person?
