A hotted up old beast like that does 126 mph, and possibly got 10 mpg if it was lucky...

A new modern 4 cylinder sedan will give the same top speed (just over 200 km/hr), if not more, but on half the fuel, and with better handling, braking and comfort, and a lot less pollution - and will probably give 40 - 50 mpg with more judicious driving..
