Maybe he should take up suicide when he finally is forced to admit the atrocious mess he has made of this country. When he can not afford to pay his mortgage cos he is unemployable and has to live on state benefits, mind you he probabkly knows all the dodges going so even that would mean he could afford to go on living.

I'm sure his friend Tony can give him a few tips on milking it for all it's worth. That b@stard is now a multi-millionaire and still swanning around making a fortune instead of where he should be, which is facing War Crime charges for his actions and lies over Iraq.

Hmmm, I'm sure plenty of t**** will pay good money for Brown's after dinner speeches. And like Blair he'll also be out of the firing line now the fan is well and truly gummed up with crap.

He's done well out of this, unlike the rest of us that are going to pay for his joyride at No. 10. :|
Do it now...before it's too late.....

Re the original question: If, as I suspect, you meant will he still be leader in 2010 or will he be be deposed by the party then clearly the answer is yes. If you meant will he be leader in exactly 12 full months then, since the OP was posted on 8 May 2009, we will only know that after the election.

Unelected, failed at the polls not even that popular with his own party
but still determined to hang onto power is there no end to Gordon Brown's cowardice, greed, dishonesty or lack of honour?

Still the worst prime minister in History (possibly worst equal with Bliar) and the worst Chancellor ever he even manages to make John Major and norman Lamont look effective and economically sound that is some achievement.

Actually I think he has behaved with a certain amount of dignity tonight. He does not appear, as some thought he would, to be scrambling around trying to find enough MPs to keep him in office at all costs. Rather he has said the he will leave it to the Tories and LibDems to see if they can reach an agreement, but that he is available to talk to any party which wants to talk.

In the meantime he is there to ensure that a stable viable government is formed. That is his duty as Prime Minister, which he still is.
