Yes it does look great, but Im a practical gal when it comes to everyday life.

As stylists we need to wear flat shoes and boots however that doesn't mean that we compromise on style. At the moment we are wearing brogues, patent boots, over the knee boots and making sure we vary our footwear as much as possible.

What do they look like? Well always black, love very pointy ones and high ones (although being a tall woman makes me tower over everyone! lol)
Love heels on boots, shoes open shoes.

It seems to me that heel wearing varies from woman to woman and location to location. Many women just can not wear heels for a prolonged period of time without experiencing some level of discomfort or pain. And then there is the whole balance issue. On the other hand some women seem to be able to wear them endlessly with no adverse effects. I've seen women running in heels outpace others in sneakers!

As to location, the overall dress code of the workplace generally dictates what is worn. I travel through many different offices in the course of my job and there are some casual places with nary a heel in sight ranging to offices that appear to be a fashion competition with women decked out in stylish outfits and very high heel boots and shoes.

It does seem that few women commute in their heels, generally changing into flats or sneakers or rain/snow boots in inclement weather.

I must say that I do enjoy working in the fashion place offices better. Scoping out the heels and boots helps my day move along!
