Moi has no patience with having kids as a trophy or to get a welfare check .....................bad for the mom & tragic for the kid .

Babys are great but for me not in the forseable future .In the adult world timing is everything and too much is going on to have one now .A few years down the road is another matter.............

I'm not on welfare either I don't know how many times I need to reiterate that, I recall a post you made about how when you met your girlfriend you had to get an HPT so the fact that you are not an unintentional unwed mother is more down to luck than maturity and planning so get off your high horse.

Yes its true most women will both wee and poo duirng labour and depending on how long it takes maybe more than once but trust me at the time its the last thing on your mind

Hi, yes it is true it can happen but I wouldn't worry about it! I have had 4 children and it hasn't happened with any of them. They do not give you anything but with my last baby, born 8 months ago, they made me go to the toilet prior to pushing. My friend is a midwife and said if it happens it happens and they deal with it, discreatley. You really wont be bothered on the day I promise! Best wishes anyway xx

very true ! although i dont anyone would every tell you it happened to them as i imagine it to be quite embarassing.. although maybe you wouldnt even feel it if your pushing so hard and concentrating on getting baby out !!!

Embarassing???, You don't even know it happened and its rarely much as that tends to happen naturally before. HB told me first baby he saw small bits comes out and it was quickly whipped away by midwife. 2nd baby no. Really its the last thing on anyones mind. Staff know and expect it to happen. HB is looking at other things.

There are so many myths on pregnacy thanks to hollywood, stirups, laying on your back, shaven, everyone walking around in gowns, baby being automatically taken out of the room on birth all rubbish for most natural births. Even internals are rare these days. My Dr turned up in mid delivery, wearing heels and didn't even touch me until it was over and I was on all fours with butt facing the wall.
