Yep, Angie has shown us all how to get a grip. Parent of the year award, not. How can you even try and defend this when it's there time and time again right in front of your face. Wake up.

The video is on here somewhere. Despite what all media outlets reported, he didn't "wisecrack". He deadpanned. There is also a pause between the beating comment and the meals comment. In between, there were a few nervous laughs. People in the room with him were taken aback by this joke. I am not accusing him of child abuse. But, I am saying the incident at Cannes was quite odd and immediately put in a better light by media reports. Watch the video.
