Yes, he has a good tone to his voice, but he lacks sincerity, I don't believe anything he does. He lacks depth, he may hit the notes but the performances and dull and contrived and over rehearsed. There is nothing raw or exciting about his performances. And as for the gay rumours, he lives with Cathy McGowen, what straight man lives with a sixties legend, twenty years his senior, most definitely gay, not that I have any issues with that! But as for the man, he falls into the same category as Elaine Paige, overworked, overpaid with one talent...singing...and nothing else!
