You're not overweight at all, it all depends on how tall you are and whether you're naturally big boned or petite.
Im 16, 5 ft 7 and weigh 8 st 8 which is underweight and all i ever hear is that i need to put on weight.
i look and feel skeletal but as im naturally small i cant do anything about it.

you can carry on eating 3 meals a day because you need it for energy but cut down in snacks that you eat and try eating an apple instead when you get hungry.

or try exercising more, im very athletic which is also why im slim.
going for a run or playing a sport once a week will help over time.

you're only 14, you've got plenty of time to change the way you look if you're that unhappy. x
I'm 12 years old and i have anorexia. I think your advice is very good i have a eating route in place but i never stick to it i cant belive what i have done to my body but i think its down to stress. my parents just recently split up and because im the youngest it's had the hardest effect on me i just wanted to say your advice is very supportive thank you. x

Anorexia tips are,
1. Treat the medical complications of anorexia,
2. See a dietitian who can deal with cognitive disorders,
3. Get therapy with an eating disorder specialist,
4. No more anorexia diet tips,
5. Keeping a journal can be helpful.

Most anorexics turn anorexic because they feel like they are losing control of everything so they turn to their weight which they can control. Also most anorexics are apart of a Pro-Ana website and often look at Thinspo (thinspiration) sites. When anorexics look in the mirror they see fat and weight they need to loose while everyone else sees bone. All anorexics have a goal weight and when they reach it they will be "perfection" in their eyes. Many anorexics battle it for the rest of their lives if they live long enough to tell the tale. Almost every anorexic has little "rituals" they do with their food, the most common one being that they cut up their food into small pieces and shove it around on their plates also every anorexic has foods that they ardently stick to such as carrots, apples, rice cakes. It also depends on what type person you are dealing with when you bring up the issue if they hide their anorexia or not. Many anorexics hide their disease by wearing really baggy clothing but alot more anorexics are proud of their disease, the way they see it they are apart of an elite society founded on will power and strength and by becoming a skeleton to them is like screaming to the world "hey I have will power to resist food and I can succeed at what so many people struggle with"(which is dieting/ weight loss) So the proud of their disease and the ones who try to hide it anorexics both wear pro-ana bracelets for many different reasons so other anorexics can identify them from the bracelet or to proclaim to the world they have anorexia or even just to let people know they support anorexia.

Exercise before you eat. It will give you more time to think over what you really want to eat, and when you do eat you’ll be more comfortable with it since you just burned some calories.
